The stand is 2 legs that are attached by screws but you don't have to use the stand if you plan on mounting it!

If you want to receive OTA DTV broadcast channels, you will need to connect an external antenna to the D24F-G1's built-in tuner using the threaded coaxial cable input connector. No such antenna is included with the D24F-G1.
