Yes. This will be more like light brown sugar. Turbinado hasn't had the molasses stripped to make white sugar. Most commercial band brown sugars use the highly processed white sugar and add molasses back in, so you get a molasses coated sugar crystals instead of the molasses inside the crystals like turbinado.

I don't know the specific answer but it does say that it is USDA certified organic and is packaged in the USA but where it is actually harvested and refined I would guess no. I do not have the bag available to see.

No Organic Cane sugar is a different process, this sugar uses a minimal process that leaves a molasses taste and coloring
