I see the Manufacturer answered "yes" to this. But, as far as I know, you need to have a phone to set the alarm (or alarms). Once an alarm is set, the alarm(s) that have been set will work without the phone being connected to the watch. I have not seen a way to set or modify alarms in the watch interface itself.

The one in those videos is the brown one actually. It doesn't look anything like the pictures, which are probably renders. The "brown" watchface is actually the same as the black one, the difference is that they use a brown crystal to tint it (store employee said Fossil does this for most of their brown watches). So, the white parts will look sepia, but the black background stays black (since it's not 100% black but rather very dark gray, it has a subtle brownish tint if you look at it in the right conditions, but most of the time it just looks black). see less The one in those videos is the brown one actually. Fossil stated 44 apps will be added by year end, per one review but does not include Nest. This is a hybrid, a traditional watch with smart features that is customizable unlike any other hybrid. But don't expect features like a true smart watch. Battery life of 10+ hours is incredible for an always on display.

All notifications from your phone will be pushed to the Hybrid watch as long as you have the notifications turned on in your phone settings and watch settings.

Since our Hybrid HR Smartwatch does not include a touchscreen, you will not be able to quick reply to messages.

Yes. There's an option on the phone itself to turn off notifications. You can turn this off from the app on your phone as well.

Once the Hybrid HR is paired with a phone and the time is sync'd, then, yes it will keep time like an analog watch.

The hole on the dial serves no purpose for the user, but is made for the repair/manufacture needs.
