Answer:
mine did the same thing...we had to program our element tv to accept the new remote. now it does volume. Netflix. you tube etc.

Most likely, hard to find. I called Element to purchase a replacement of the same kind but they don't make them anymore. I've looked everywhere and I can't find any or find them any cheaper.
