Answer:
It is not necessary to drain water after each use, however we recommend changing water once every week. Our tummy time water mat is made from very durable leak-proof materials, so you do not have to worry about accidental leakage.

Answer:
I bought this mat when my baby was 3 months, now he has 20 pounds. This tummy time mat is sturdy enough to hold his weight and seems to be able to hold more."

Answer:
There’s a little flap inside the air valve. Please, try to squeeze the air valve firmly with fingers when blowing so the flap moves out of the way, and you’ll be able to inflate the mat with no effort.

Answer:
Sure, that should be fine. I washed it with hot water with no issues. Please, do not put it in laundry machine, nor dishwasher. They will destroy this item.

Answer:
You can use this water baby mat both indoor and outdoor. We sometimes like to take this mat outside and put it on a lawn with a blanket underneath. Our baby seems to enjoy the tummy time more when we are outside.

Answer:
When I got this play mat, it had a very slight smell of a new plastic, as all PVC staff. It didn’t bother me much, it aired out in a day on my balcony. When I filled it I wiped it with wet baby napkins, and this was enough."

Answer:
It is a heavy vinyl, my cats don't have any interest in it, but I have a 4year old that is rough playing with it and it has held up well!
