This is a wifi adapter card only. With a PC and another network interface, you could construct an AP with this as a component of it. This will not function as an AP by itself.

Regarding "usb port", not sure what you're referring to. Don't think I've seen a motherboard with no USB headers (connectors). There are usually at least 2. If you mean there is not an available header (ie: already in use), not sure there is a solution. But check your motherboard manual. The wifi we use with it has always worked; no issues. but we are using it only in the home...Not outside the home.

Mine runs great usually around 300mbps but the further away from router slower speeds you will get.

yeah the card should work with hp elitedesk 800 g2 sff ,the pc should have a PCIe x1 slot ,and it can be checked by just opening the case and checking the labels on the empty available slots on the motherboard .

Yes the wireless (wifi) will work just fine (and it's fast), but the bluetooth will not work without connecting to a USB header on the motherboard.

My device, running Windows 10, automatically installed the WiFi drivers for this card. However, it does come with a small cd (physically small cd at 8cm/3inches) which I used to install the blue tooth portion of the driver set.

As long as you don't have anything in your PCI-e 2.0 slot (The small one) it will work fine. Just need to make sure you have a USB connection open for the BT component.
