The A-frame (triangle) is the only folding piece. It does fold nicely and has smooth operation.
To "select" the size, at least from the Woodandhearts supplier, you have to go to their Amazon page and find the individual set you want. There is "standard" and "small". This is noted in the item title description.

No, it opens to one set high and closes in the leg for storage. Kinda like a kick stand. The height of the slide/climbing wall can be adjusted. My grandson’s going on 2 and loves this.

For large and standard sizes diameter is 30 millimeters. For small and mini sizes diameter is 25 millimeters.

We tested it up to 100 kilograms or 220 lbs. But we recommend use it up to 60 kilograms or 133 lbs.
