Customer Review

I used to buy medium and large sized milkbones, but a few months ago switched to auto ship one box of large size on Amazon. I have two 55lb dogs and 3 around 10lbs, so I break the large in half for the smaller dogs. That is their breakfast and I feed a meal in the evening. This is my 3rd autoship I think and yesterday and today when I broke bones in half different colored hairs are sticking out: white, tan, dark brown....
I am totally grossed out. There is no place in the ingredients list that describes hides and hairs, but when I googled why there were hairs in Milkbones, there were many answers relayed from the company to customers that the hairs are from cow hide. I know dogs like to eat dead things, but the ingredients do not reflect hide and hair as an ingredient. These are the animal ingredients according to Amazon and the internet and box: Meat and Bone Meal, Wheat Bran, Milk, Beef Fat (preserved with BHA).
