Purchased a vacuum on Amazon via orfeld and purchased a warranty through Asurion. The vacuum stopped working within 2 months. Amazon would not replace or return the item because the return window closed on July 17th and it was july 21st. Tried contacting orfeld. Website link was no good. Phone number was no good. No response from Amazon message relay. Called Asurion as a last resort for them to honor warranty that I paid for. They refused to do anything because I had to contact the manufacturer because it was within 24 months. I told them that I had tried contacting the manufacturer and I was getting no response. They still refused to help. I told them that I wanted them to refund the warranty if they would not honor it. They finally agreed to give me an Amazon gift card which is not acceptable and I had to buy a box to return the vacuum. The Asurion representative said this was the only option. They would not replace the vacuum nor would they refund the card I purchased it on. Very unhelpful. I asked to speak with a manager multiple times but was ignored/refused. I was not disrespectful or rude, I just wanted them to honor what I paid them for. Don’t waste your money. They won’t help you.
