I purchased this protection plan to go with a pair of low cost earbuds. When the earbuds stopped working on one side, I filed a claim. They denied the claim - stating that "This issue may be covered by the original manufacturer's warranty." MAY BE?? Then - "Please contact the manufacturer to take advantage of the coverage you may already have for this product." So I am to contact someone else for a "may be" and Asurion has no idea if this is the solution I need. No contact info provided to the manufacturer or any other assistance. What did I pay for if I file a claim but get no assistance/help or compensation? NOTHING is what I got.
