My favorite hummus comes from a nearby restaurant. It’s smooth and creamy and absolutely delicious. My second favorite is a fresh grocery brand that comes from a local producer. But when it’s cold outside and there’s a foot of snow on the ground, I turn to California Garden. I think it’s the best of the canned hummus I’ve seen. You can use it right out of the can, though I typically add a a bit of olive oil, and a sprinkle of water to thin it out.
