I love the quilt so far! I've washed it once and it doesn't have any weird smell or anything. It's very comfy and just warm enough, and nice and soft! I'm autistic and I am very sensitive to rough textures and anything that causes me discomfort. I'm unable to deal with polyester or any artificial fabrics.
Some folks seem to think that their quilt is polyester and not cotton due to what the tag says, but that's because they are not looking at all of the tags. One tag says 100% polyester fiber, and is referencing the filler of the quilt. Almost all quilts are going to be filled with polyester fiber. The tag right next to it clearly states that the quilt fabric is 100% cotton, and I can tell you with my sensitive skin that that is true!
I bought the king size for my queen size bed and I think it fits nice, but I like a little extra quilt for snuggling. My cats love it, I love it, and you'll probably love it too!
