It is no good for board books; the slings are too deep and they vanish from view. We use it for all of their taller hardback books.
What I dislike is the pricing; when I bought this, getting the slings in primary colors was twice the price of the pastels. I went with the pastels even though I would have much preferred the primary colors.
This sling bookshelf is for my twins. It has survived their first two years so its sturdy enough. It does get wobbly over time so it needs to be re-tightened periodically.

Easy to assemble, stores lots of books
