Item is exactly as described. It is a high-quality curved wooden board. I have an 8yo, 5yo, and 3yo. It might get more use as a motor-development toy for babies and toddlers. My kids still use it a good bit to play with though in various other ways as a bridge, ramp, or fort wall. My only issue with it is how expensive it is. I suppose one could argue its durability and open-endedness make it worth the price, but still... it's a lot to pay for a piece of wood.
