I thought this would be great. I already had the Colavita Italian Premium olive oil, imported from Italy, to use in my recipe for a salad dressing simply made with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. vinegar, 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper. I have only made this using an old, ordinary bottle of white vinegar, to go on a salad of tuna, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, chopped walnuts & a few olives. The ordinary vinegar (but don't forget the pepper) gives it a sharp taste I'm used to. Love it.
Thought this would be greater, and it is indeed very different and unique. But unfortunately it really neutralizes the sharp vinegar taste I had been enjoying, and gave nothing to the salad for me.... Now I'm thinking I tried balsam wine vinegar long ago, and didn't like it. So, my mistake.
