I really liked the design of this mouse, which was part of the reason I purchased it. However, after I charged it, I tried using it on my lap-table's built-in mouse pad, which has a dark, non-reflective surface and nothing would move. At first I though the mouse was defective, but when I moved it to the shiny part of the lap table, the mouse worked. Later, I put a piece of graph paper on the pad, and the mouse still wouldn't move the cursor. And that's when I put 2+2 together: this mouse needs a shiny surface to work properly. So now I'll try to put something reflective on the mouse pad so the mouser can work properly. I've never had such a problem with other mice, so it seems unique to this one.
