Wood is thick and good quality, it was mostly assembled when received. The 2 big cons for me was that it was wobbly no matter how tight the screws were, so. It's kind of dangerous. Also, it doesnt fold as easily as you'd think. The ability to fold for storage was one of the big selling points. Unfortunately, you have to remove 6 screws and 6 wood plates in order to fold it and then replace those 6 screws and 6 wood plates to keep it together. It takes about 8 minutes to fold it for storage, too long if you are looking to store after every use. I ended up returned and purchasing another brand.
