This Leviton brown color GFCI was purchased to replace a white seventeen year old Leviton GFCI installed in the garage. The old GFCI still test good from the test button and with a tester used at a remote outlet. The replacement was to get the latest safety features and for cosmetic reasons.

This GFCI is not tamper resistant, but this is not an issue for the install location.

The screw clamps will hold 12 gauge or 14 gauge wires securely giving me peace of mind.

The GFCI is a flat color as shown in the picture on Amazon. The wall plate that comes with it has a glossy finish so the color match is off. For a garage installation this does not matter to me.

There are stickers with the words “GFCI Protected Outlet” included. I will not need to use them. I’ve seen contractors use these stickers after an installation.
