I believe the Manhattan Project and all of the associated aspects of what the United States went through to develop the bomb that ended the War is a very worthwhile project. Sadly this offers very little to hold your attention as a story and it's all fantasy. They do a good job of depicting Santa Fe and Los Alamos as a location - lots of name-dropping of famous scientists. But I just couldn't get into it. I think the true story is interesting and could have been zhuzhed-up with some fiction. This seems mostly like fiction and it's just not something I could stay with. Man, i loved this show. It has hints of a murder mystery with great actors. There's complexity and layers to each character and they all are intertwined in some way. I have caught a lot of foreshadowing as well, how an actor will mention something subtely in a previous show and then end a scene with that piece of information in a clever way. I did not expect to get past the 2nd episode when I started becoming invested in how the story played oud. A bit slow, but just the right pace if you ask me. I'd recommend you giving it a try.
