If you’re looking for a versatile toy, here’s a great one. My kids have been in love with their balance board because they can play different things with it. It has been a bed, car track, bridge, and even a slide. I totally recommend it, just make sure they play with it in a carpeted area.

My daughter ate it HARD on this thing

First off, I want to say that I love this toy, Its a really great way to help with kid wiggles. Its also a way to get severely injured if you dont have proper rules in place or are not supervising your children while using it. I literally turned my back on my daughter for one minute - I was in the same room - and wham, blood everywhere, split lip, likely soon-to-be-gray-teeth and an entire swollen mouth later, I learned what every parent needs to know before using this thing...DO NOT let them put blankets on it, I would also say NO SOCKS allowed ever. My daughter was building a bridge (she put it upside down) and wanted the bridge 'to have color', so she put a blanket on top of it and then stood on it and slipped right off....face first. Major parent fail here....just want to warn the other parents what could happen if you aren't careful. Sadly, I am returning this because I dont want another accident.

Board good, play mat not

I went with this one over other brands because this one did not have felt on the underside and I wanted the kids to have the option to use it as a slide (hard to slide on felt). As far as that goes, I'm happy. I have no qualms with the balance board itself and know my children will get a great deal of use out of it.
However, if you were excited to get a play mat to go with it, don't be; calling it a "mat" is disingenuous. The "play mat" is a thin, no structure or weight piece of fabric: think very very cheap bedsheet (see picture). As the instructional insert itself says, "do not use on any surface that could move without warning while the board is in use". You can't use this "mat" as a mat under the board as in the pictures. This would be fine except that they depicted it as such, hence the docked star.
In fact, I'm changing this to 3 stars, as I fold the sheet back up again. I did not buy it for the mat, I made the purchase for the board itself, but that deception irks me.

First, I should say that the product itself is very solid and well-made.

However, its uses and value for money is disappointing. I bought into all the hype from the reviews and got pretty excited about this. Originally, I was looking for an indoor physical toy bc of shelter-in-place and thought this would be interesting and versatile. In the end, it's just a board and nothing spectacular.

My 1-year-old stands on it once in awhile, wobbles for a few seconds, then forgets about it. We've tried to engage her with it by rolling cars/balls down, sitting and rocking with her, and also using it as a slide (mainly to justify its purchase and cost). It's not a very good slide because you fall right off of the peak of the curve and thump on the floor. I tried to have her crawl under it and it's fine. But I could probably do all these things with household items like an ironing board or something. This is well made and sturdy but my experience with this thing doesn't agree with the all the enthusiastic 5-star reviews.

Cracked on sides in less than 24 hours

I was really excited to find this board at an affordable price. It shipped fast. However, I have had it for 24 hours and it has cracks on both sides. It says it supports over 400lbs, so I stood on it (I weigh 130lbs) and heard the wood cracking. Also, the bottom of the board is wavy when you run your hands across it.
Quality is not good. I should have spent more and bought the Kindeefeets board. Disappointed.

“Mat” is more like a wall hanging

I specifically selected this item for the play mat. I thought it looked fun and useful, and my husband already wanted to get a road rug for our daughter to play on. I see that, in the time between when I placed my order and when it arrived that someone else left a review showing what a joke the mat is. The “mat” is a piece of fabric more like a wall hanging than anything you could actually play with. There’s no way you could drive a toy car on it, much less use the balance board on top.

That having been said, the board itself is nice and my daughter is enjoying it. But don’t select this listing specifically for the mat like I did.

On the first day, a piece on the edge chipped off. After about 3 weeks of use, the board has started to come apart in the middle seams. I’m not sure how long it will hold together. Kids love the design.

I wanted to love this product. We bought it almost a year ago now when my son was only 2 years old and he had no interest in it so it has just sat untouched for months. A month ago when he turned 3 he decided he loved it and started playing with it often! But after very little use it is already chipping, cracking, and falling apart. Very disappointed based on the price. And my son mostly only uses it as a ramp for his toy cars - nothing super rough and supposedly it is meant to be climbed on. Love the idea, don’t love the construction.

I clearly received a used product. The board arrived with leftovers lines from crayon or marker all over it. I think they tried to clean it but you can totally see them still. My daughter obviously like the board so I don’t think it’s worth the hassle of returning it. I’m just not happy about paying full price for something that’s already been used.
