Perfect for my 5 year old's toys

We like to keep toys not only in my son's room but also in the living room. The toy boxes worked well when he was little, but by the age of 5 our previously very nice living room had started to look like a gypsy camp. We had looked into all kinds of cubbies and shelving from Ikea and different furniture stores but nothing was right. After reading all the reviews for this item I decided to go for it - and it's absolutely perfect for us! Shipping was fast, assembly was easy, great quality. I ordered 2 to fit everything (except books), as some of the toys are rather bulky.
Our living room finally looks neat again, and the best part is that all the previously forgotten toys are being played with again.

Could be perfect but.....

Overall this is a very nice toy organizer, but:
1. one of the rods has a faulty thread, it can't be screwed to the side panel. I have contacted the manufacturer, sent them a video showing it can't be screwed, and they asked me to take it apart and send another video without the panel. well... if the screw won't screw with the panel why would it without...?
2. just a couple of weeks after assembling the floor support pieces came off, the metal part the screw goes into came off the wooden part. I did not figure out yet what to do with it, how can I fix it..... Note: the stand stays in one place, it is not being moved, my 2.5 yo just took them off like it was the easiest thing to do.

I bought this to help store smaller toys in our play room. We already have a few shelving units but the bins were so big it was hard for my daughter to find what she wanted. This resulted in her either dumping the contents of the bin all over the floor or just not even trying to sift through them. Now that she can see everything her toys get more play. She also loves that she can take out and carry the bins anywhere she wants.

I assembled this myself in about 10 minutes. The hardest part was separating some of the bins. It's very sturdy once assembled. And looks great. It's the perfect size--not too big, not too small--and holds a surprising amount of toys.

Just be careful of the little stabilizing bars on the bottom. I was cleaning up our play room and hit my little toe on one and ended up with a fractured toe! The organizer didn't even budge! Great testament to its stability, unfortunately at the expense of my foot.

Best Cure for my OCD!

This toy storage was the answer to my prayers! It keeps the toys from the floors, organized in the bins, and easily accessible for future play. We got this for as a Christmas present and it was super easy to assemble. I did it in under 30 minutes during baby's nap time, so yeah it's quiet to do so too. The material is similar to the old kitchen cabinets and just as cheap in that respect. So this thing will get easily scratched, swollen in wet, and beat up if not properly taken care of. But for the purposes of storing toys, it is right on point.

It brings 2 boards which are the sides and support, 8 metal bars, 8 long screws, 8 small bins, and 4 big bins. The bins are a good thickness plastic. They are not too deep which is perfect to keep them from piling on too many things that can make them heavy and not easily removed by a toddler. You can customize as desired and put away whatever your little one's heart desires. It is also heavy enough that I feel confident it will not easily topple over my 22 month old.

I recommend this toy storage over most of the others out there because the bins are plastic, not cloth allowing for easy clean up and safer handling, you can see the toys clearly allowing more play time for each, and lots of bins to separate by color, size, toy type, etc. Not to mention it matches perfectly the rest of the furniture in my son's room.

If you want a cure for your OCD tick when it comes to your baby's toys, buy this! It will help you sleep peacefully whatever amount of time your baby let's you ;)

I spent a lot of time looking at toy organizers and finally decided to go with Humble Crew because of the reasons listed below.

Specifications:
- "Product sizing— Organizer: 34”W x 11”D (16”D with stabilizing braces) x 31”H, Standard Size Bins: 12”L
x 9”W x 6”H, Large Size Bins: 16”L x 12”W x 6”H"
- 4 levels/tiers which can each hold around 20 pounds.
- 12 plastic storage bins (8 small and 4 large). Other designs are available which include either 16 or 20 storage bins.

Some unique features:
- Removable storage bins (helps with cleanup and playtime).
- Well constructed wooden frame with steel rods
- Height is perfect for toddlers
- Plastic storage bins are BPA and phthalate-free.
- The bottom braces help with stabilizing the organizer and an anti-tip kit (with wall anchors) came with
this item. I strongly recommend utilizing the anti-tip kit. It is really hard (though not impossible) to tip
over this item (because of the bottom stabilizing braces)
- Assembly time was minimal (around 20-30 minutes) and all hardware was included. Assembly
instructions were clear.

Concern
Unfortunately, two of the bins arrived broken and I contacted Customer service. They were kind enough to immediately ship replacement storage bins.

Conclusion and recommendation
This product has helped us clean our child's play area and keep it organized while also simultaneously empowering our child with the ability to access toys. I brought the primary color set (visible in the picture above) which provides good visibility and contrast and strongly recommend this over the other colors. It is a great addition to the child's room. Customer service was most helpful and prompt in replacing the broken bins. My only regret was that I didn't get the wider toy organizer from Humble Crew (they have both 16 or 20 storage bins shelves) as we received more toys for our child over time.

Modern and attractive toy storage!

I love this toy shelf! It is very reasonably priced. I purchased it for $69 and now it is $50 so an even better deal. It matches the Tot Tutors book rack storage self perfectly making for a nice modern mono chromatic look! It’s holds toys nicely and holds up to my kids well. I added 3m stick on hooks I also purchased on amazon and use them to hang my daughters baby carriers. I added a photo to show how it looks. We did have one bin break and Tot Tutors customer service was wonderful and sent us a replacement bin without hassle. I love that they offer a modern looking storage option. I had a difficult time finding storage that wasn’t rainbow colored. I really appreciate their many style options! Would highly recommend!

Pleasantly Surprised!

It showed up in secure packaging, the pieces were in bubble wrap and clear plastic bags.
All the parts were accounted for and all I needed to put it together was a Phillips head screwdriver.
I had a second set of hands to hold it steady as I inserted the screws just so I could get a perfectly snug fit with the 20 screws, but I definitely could've put it together by myself if I had to.
I read all the reviews of this item and two reviews I read mentioned the tubs either being stuck together extremely tight and it caused the handle to break off or the bottom to crack, but I had a fine experience. The tubs were wrapped in bubble wrap and practically slid apart with little effort and they seem durable to me.
Another two reviews I read mentioned they wanted a way to secure the thing to a wall, apparently at one time it didn't come with an anchor system but among the bag of screws was a bag containing a plastic anchor system. I didn't use these anchor pieces because frankly I don't forsee this thing tipping over, the base is well designed and I Tested it myself and you have to deliberately pull it over and that was not impossible to do but it was very hard to do.
I like the look of the whole thing too, its the perfect size in two ways for me, one its not an eye sore at all in my opinion and two its the perfect height for my two nieces, a 3 year old & a 5 year old.
I like it a lot.

Storage capacity:
Perfect for what I needed. I was able to get rid of what seemed like a million shoe boxes and ziplock bags.

Sturdiness: This unit can be slightly wobbly laterally. But when I switched the heavier items to the bottom and lighter items on top this helped tremendously. In no way do I feel it is unsafe for my 2 and 4 year olds.

Assembly: I timed myself...less than 20 minutes! So easy. Very straight forward. Only thing you need is a Phillips screw driver.

Overall:
My boys share a very tiny room and I was tired of storing their toys in the living room. This is a great solution for organization and small space saving. This also helps me teach my boys how to put their toys away in the RIGHT place where they belong.
Overall it’s money well spent and I may even get another one to organize my other household items.

I don't know the exact company that we bought our last toy organizer from but as you can see from the pics, this won't be happening to the new one. The old storage cloth bins are used out in the garage, or at least the ones that still have some shape to them)

My kids don't even take the plastics bins out of the holder, as they did with the cloth ones. They dont want to lay on this one, as they did the old one. That's how the bent frame happened. They would take out the cloth storage bins, and then saw that they had a little space to lie down on and tuck away. I mean it's been night and day, as far as toy storage has gone in my house, since we have gotten this in my 4 year olds son's room!

Dude, they are kids. (Mine are 6,4, and 2) They are going to mess stuff up. Like always. Plastic and hard non bendable rods can't be messed with. I guess they could snap the wood, but again, they haven't even tried it.

I do a lot of Electronics and occasionally some crazy wiring prototype projects for a few companies. I like to design and build circuits and do repairs on automotive wiring and can repair most small to larger home appliance electrical repairs.

I'm using this organizer to capture and corral all my wild roaming soldering tools and commonly used parts/wire IN ONE PLACE such as soldering iron and DMM measuring tools and circuit boards, the large collection of plastic containers for separating small components like those used for fishing lures or metal fasteners, nuts n washers. Shrink tubing, crimp tools and all types of crimp connectors for wiring.

If I'm a good kid I'll put my toys away at the end of the day, or after finishing a project.
This organizer will be great. I may have to get a 2nd one.
