If you're old school Puertorican then you're keeping the can for your rice

I grew up with these crackers. It's not as if I shared my bedroom with them or that we went to school together, LOL. I was raised in the 70s and these crackers were a staple in my Latin home. My parents are from Puerto Rico and this was a served every morning with coffee. You slap a little bit of yummy butter on it and you dip those crackers into your coffee and breakfast was served. Now I am in my late forties and I still buy these for myself and my husband and our son. From time to time I'll add tuna fish salad on top and have it as a snack. Other times just a nice strong piece of cheese or cheese and salami. Sometimes even peanut butter. These are unsalted which is perfect because my husband has high blood pressure so we avoid sodium as much as possible. A huge amount comes in this can. However knowing that at the supermarket these are no more than five bucks, when I see Amazon sell them for $8 it's infuriating. I love these but I'm not paying $8 for it. In any event these are really good. And they can be eaten a bunch of different ways. My mom used to crumble these in her meatloaf or in her meatballs. I'm telling you, you can even put these in your food processor and use as bread crumbs. And the funny thing is is not like it has a ton of flavor. But they are great nonetheless.

The WHOLE can of soda crackers was in pieces!!!!!

I expected a better quality delivery from Amazon. Am thinking of cancelling my Amazon Prime! This is the second time that I have ordered these crackers through Amazon. The first time it arrived in pieces and with the cans dented both on the bottom and on the top and only a handful of crackers was salvageable. So, I tried a different seller, but distributed through Amazon also, not direct from the seller....this time it was worse! Crackers are not salvageable unless you want to use them as bread crumbs for coating poultry before cooking. Can't you at least put the word "fragile, this way up, do not place anything on top of the box" on it? Come on folks, where is the quality of service, money does not grow on trees! Does not even rate a star but this site would not let me submit without one!

I should have heeded others warnings about the condition
of the crackers upon arrival.
I was looking forward to these
tasty crackers. Only about 1/4
of the crackers were intact. Only order if you want 28 ounces of tasty cracker crumbs.

I've purchased this product before from my market. No problem.
This time fully 3/4 (or more) of the crackers were broken into less than half size pieces. In both tins!
Unless the tins were dropped from an airplane I see no reason for my purchase to arrive in that condition.
Disgraceful.

I received this can of crackers all broken up and stale. I used a portion for bed crumbs and the remaining in the garbage. That is how bad they were. Would never purchase this again.
