This is the best toothpaste that I have tried. It really tastes good- not sickeningly sweet like other toothpaste. It leaves your mouth feeling fresh and minty. I particularly like the effect of the baking soda when I have eaten chocolate or have had a cup of coffee earlier in the day and my mouth tastes acidic. The baking soda really works well. This version comes WITHOUT peroxide and tastes by far the best of the Arm and Hammer toothpastes.

Note: A previous reviewer claimed that sodium lauryl sulfate causes canker sores. This is pure nonsense.

Years ago my dentist recommended me Arm&Hammer toothpaste. I ask him twice if he meant THE Arm&Hammer, I had no idea they were selling toothpaste. I need to say, I was suffering from gum sensitivity plus had a major jaw trauma at that point, but wanted to keep my sparkling smile. I gave it a try and Wow! I don't change to any other toothpaste brand ever, Just a small amount -good when you have some sensitivity issues- and my teeth are clean, bright and good smell. Lately, I started Arm&Hammer Spinbrush -I bought it in Amazon- and again, same good quality.

I have had a few people ask me what toothpaste I use and they are surprised it's not some fancy expensive brand. This does a good job of whitening (though it doesn't give you a movie star smile!) and your mouth feels really clean afterwards. I've used a lot of different brands, including Rembrandt, and this works the best for me.
