5.0 out of 5 starsSimply Awesome...
Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2018
I bought a pair of these 5 years ago and wore them through all of my workouts and yard work since. Besides the fact that they sit perfectly in my ears despite what activity I am doing, they sound simply awesome. I got tipped to these from extensive excellent reviews over at Head-Fi.

I've got in-ears that cost more than 10x the price of the M6's and these are right up there with the best, and certainly better than anything I've tried at 2-3x the cost. They sound incredible and I get zero audio fatigue - they just sound "pleasant" to my ears.

This 2018 version appear to be built even better than the 2013 model.

Thanks MEE. Please don't stop making these!!

1.0 out of 5 starsLong time user no longer purchasing these headphones due to recent changes
Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2018
The Good: the sound is good, they stay in your ears when you run, they're affordable. I actually have owned OVER A DOZEN pairs of these since 2012 because that combination was so favorable.

The terrible: After 6-8 months or so, they usually need to be replaced because one of the earbuds stops working, or the wire starts coming apart. Hence the over a dozen.
BUT, more importantly, my streak is ending. They recently changed the shape of the ear buds so they are little wider and made out of a different material. These changes make it *excruciating* to wear for longer than five minutes because it unavoidably digs into the various parts of my ear. And now there's also solid chunk of cheap plastic in the middle that bounces against me when I run.

What the hell did they do to these perfectly decent headphones?

5.0 out of 5 stars Still my favorite earbud after 6+ years
Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2016
Style: WiredColor: BlackVerified Purchase
I have tried a great many earbuds in the $10-50 price range over the years and each time, I keep coming back to the MEE M6. It's been my go-to favorite for about 6 years now and no other earbud has been able to take the crown. I bought the $50 M6 PRO earbud on a sale to try them out and found that these regular Sport-Fi M6 are longer lasting and less prone to damage. My primary use is for commuting and walking rather than exercise. While they are billed as a "sport" earbud I would not recommend them for working out unless you do not sweat much.

PROS: The sound is the best balanced out of all the MEE earbuds in this price range and I find the bass to be as good as the M9. The over-ear cables are easily moldable and soften to your ear shape within about a week. It's easy to pop the earbuds out for a quick moment to talk to someone or order at a counter without the cables falling down and tangling up; they stay nicely hooked on your ear. It comes with several eartips and I have not had discomfort even after wearing them for upwards of 5 hours at a time. The biggest plus for the M6 is the high audio quality and comfort relative to the price.

CONS: Not very sweat resistant. I go through a pair in under a year if I wear them for regular exercise because I sweat very heavily. They are also not ideal for heavy sweating activity because the over-ear cable acts as a conduit for sweat to flow directly into your ear, creating a very unpleasant feeling and interfering with the sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for difficult to fit ears
Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2016

I hate getting new earphones for one reason: I can never find any that fit my ears. They either hurt, fall out, or both. So, to say I'm particular about my earphones is putting it mildly and I hold onto a set when I find one that fits. Alas, my last pair finally died on me so I have been on the lookout for way too long (we are talking months here). When I saw these I was hopeful because there were SIX options of ear pads coming with them. If one of these sets didn't work for me I figured I was a lost cause. When they came I put them in not expecting to get a fir on the first set, but they fit great! I didn't have any pain and the sealed well blocking out ambient noises and even moving around chewing (which is a certain thing to make any ear piece fall out) they stayed in. I was very pleased!
Just for kicks, I did try every other set of ear pieces they came with in the off chance that a different set might fit better. There were the usual problems of some falling out and others hurting, and a couple sets just didn't fit (too big or too small) so I am very happy with the original.
Setting up the "memory wire" was simple and I love the case it comes with.
Overall, especially if you are like me and have a problem finding earphones for you funny shaped ears, these are worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic ear buds, the best I've ever owned
Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2015
Style: WiredColor: ClearVerified Purchase
The earbuds are fantastic! I originally purchased them to listen to music at work (as a journalist, the news room can be super loud and makes it hard to concentrate sometimes). With others in the past, I had to turn up the volume pretty high to not have both the music and the voices of my coworkers in my ear. With these, though, just having them in with the lowest volume blocks out all outside noise completely. The music sounds as it should and the earbuds are really comfortable. I have very small ears and the smallest buds fit snugly inside my ears without me feeling like I need to readjust them every few minutes. They're so comfortable I sometimes forget I have them in.

Which brings me to the best part about these: I can use them to talk on the phone! I didn't realize this when I purchased them since I was only looking for something to play music, but it's ended up being the best feature. The phone at my office has a lot of static and it's actually easier for people to hear me through these headphones, which leaves my hands free to type away without me getting a kink in my neck from holding the phone with my shoulder.

I snap the cord onto my shirt at high chest level and, even if people are talking around me in the news room, people are able to hear me just fine at a normal volume voice. I can hear them better than if I used the landline and better even than straight from my cell phone. I also don't have to worry about dropping the call since my cell stays in one spot while we talk and I don't accidentally hang up on someone with my face--which I did a lot.

Do yourself a favor and buy these. It's a fantastic price for everything you'll get!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Headphones for an Excellent Price
Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2015

product: MEElectronics Sport-Fi M6 Noise Isolating In-Ear Headphones with Memory Wire (Clear)

Most people wouldn't expect a pair of $20 headphones that claim to be noise Isolating and made for working out to have good sound or quality but in the case of this pair of headphones, it does that and much more. Not only do you get an additional case for the headphones, but also 6 sets of interchangeable eartips so you can get the best fit (I found that the ones that came on the earphones worked the best for me).
The noise-isolating feature: When I first put them on, I couldn't believe how well they isolated sound. I couldn't hear any backround noises (cars, microwave, etc.) and when I turned on my music, I couldn't hear a person talking right in front of me.
The fit: When I tried working out and running with them, I didn't have any trouble. They stayed snuggly in my ear the whole time and I could hear the music clearly the whole time. The "memory wire" also works great. It took me about 10 seconds to figure out how to fit it to my ear and then I was good.
The sound quality: Finally, the thing everyone wants to know about. Does the low price of these headphones take away sound quality? The answer to this is definitely no. I'm not a headphone/sound enthusiast but I can still tell that these have good sound. When compared to the old Apple ear pods, these sound amazing. If I could say anything about the way these sound, it would be that the base is very prominent (but not overpowered, so you can still listen to classical-type music).

A few things I wanted to know before I bought this:
-Does the clear color get dirty/rusty? No, atleast they haven't yet in the month that I've been using them (and they look pretty in general as a color)

-How long is the cord? About 4 1/2"--I find that it's a bit too long when you run, but you can easily fix this by either stuffing the excess cord into your pocket or using the handy clip of them to hold extra cord.

-Do they get tangled easily? No! These are the first headphones I've had that don't. It's probably because the cord is a bit stiffer than most

Thanks for taking the time to read this review. I hope it helped and answered any questions you had. Look at the pictures I took for more help--I put the headphones next to a sharpie marker for comparison in size.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor durability
Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2018

I am disappointed by these ear phones. I purchased them in June 2017 and have been using them approximately 5 days a week to listen to music while running. Last week I noticed a slight crackle sound from the right ear phone, but this resolved itself. A few days later the right side ear phone went dead, no sound. This disappointed me, because I followed the manufacturers guidelines for operations, and the product looks durable. Based on previous reviews I expected better, at least 12 months of problem free operation.

The good points of these earphones are that it comes in a sturdy carrying case, comes with 6 pairs of ear buds, and has good sound quality. However the durability is poor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievably Good

First of all. I am hard of hearing. I have to say, these have been the only pair of ear buds that worked absolutely marvelous for me. I could hear it! It's that good. And that's a lot to say from a deaf person like myself.

The bass, the frequencies, the snap in fit in my ear canal, no moisture, the quality of the cable, the power - ohhhh, these babies vibrates all of my hair receptors inside my ears.

For $10.00? This stuff beats all my previously owned plastic ear buds. What's better? It comes inside a nice stuffy little case that fits in my pocket.

Accidentally stepped over the wires and got disconnected from my PC, guess what, this sturdy build is durable, it didn't break! The L-Shape connector prevents accidental breaking. And it's comfortable for older iPhone with the Aux input, since it doesn't stick out straight.

I bought these pair together with the MEE M6 Pro that costs $49.99. I let my friend do a comparison, he didn't noticed a great difference except some higher frequencies on the more expensive ones. But the design and fit are so too similar.

I am buying 2-3 more pairs to keep around. They're that good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Decent earbuds for the price
Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2021

In all fairness, It is hard for me to compare these headphones to what I am used to. I have been using a set of Shure SE-425 headphones for my in-ear monitors while playing drums for the past 8 years. Another set of Shure’s were not in my budget, so I had to compromise and buy something that was very affordable.

The sound quality of these are ok, but the highs are a little muddy. The fit is good and the noise cancellation is decent. My best guess would be that the NRR of these would be in the range of 15-20db. They do include a clip for your shirt and it seems to have good tension and doesn’t fall loose. The soft, zippered case that comes with them is nice to keep them protected while not in use. They also come with different sized ear pieces, which is nice because we all have different sized ear canals.

Overall, I think that these are good quality for the price point.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not As Good As Previous Models
Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2018

UPDATED 7/10/18:
Changed rating to 1-star as one side is now working intermittently during workouts. This set hasn't even been really put to the test as previous models that I've bought from MEE, which is very disappointing. They still look brand new, having only bought them on May 31st and only used them about two dozen times. Of course, now I can't even return them. What a waste of money! They've tried to make the product look more appealing, but clearly sacrificed durability in order to do so. It's apparent that they as good or as durable as previous models, which I would happily take over this current one. I won't be buying another MEE product if this is the road they are going down.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve owned 4 pairs of these headphones over the past few years and I loved the comfort, small size and the memory wire which helps keep them in place. The sound could be a bit better, but for the price, they were still an excellent purchase. They claim to be water/sweat resistant, but after about 9months to a year of regular use & long runs, you start to run into issues and one side usually goes out.

That said, I’m not a big fan of the changes they’ve made to the current (2018) version. The ear pieces are a bit bulkier, they don’t sit snug in your ear, and they’ve added a large plastic piece in your chest area which weighs down the ear pieces unnecessarily and bounces when you run. If they keep this current model, I won’t be purchasing another one, even for the cheap price.
