The purity of the product is its streangth

Most of the criticisms I see about this particular product is that it doesn't taste very good. Actually, it tastes a little chalky, like magnesium oxide tastes (think Milk of Magnesia.) And that fact is exactly why I like the product. It is pure magnesium glycinate. No additives, taste enhancers, or sweeteners - just pure magnesium glycinate. If I need to deal with the taste, I can do that in a way that suits me, I don't have to accept how the manufacturer has decided to adulterate the product to suit most tastes. As it turns out, the taste is no big deal to me. So I appreciate the fact that it contains nothing but magnesium glycinate and would therefore recommend it to anyone who needs to supplement their intake of magnesium. If the taste bothers you, you can customize how you take it any way you wish.
More important, probably, is the fact that magnesium in this form does not seem to trigger the diarrhea effect as does magnesium oxide or magnesium citrate. This may be an individual reaction, but at least for me getting magnesium into my system without complication seems to work best using magnesium glycinate. If other magnesium compounds have created problems for you, this approach may be the answer.
