Good for the price

Finding good organic nuts can be tough. I’m no expert but I’ve ordered other nuts from Braga before and haven’t been dissatisfied. The freshness and taste probably could have been better but I wasn’t sad about it. I know batches can’t be uniform 365 days a year when growing crops so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Strawberries are awesome in June and perhaps acceptable in December if a quality grower can be found. The same is true of pecans.

I’ve seen nothing about their smell, flavor or appearance that has been off putting and they have gone well in nut breads, pancakes and trail mix. The company seems reputable as far as I can tell so I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

I often take a long time, years sometimes, to post a review to wait and see if the product really is good or bad. If something unfavorable comes up it will be posted here in an update.

Dark, bitter, not at all fresh. Don't buy these!

It's a little difficult to capture on camera but these were the worst pecans I've ordered yet! They were really dark, bitter with a horrible taste, and not fresh at all! Most were actually chewy. Chewy pecans? What!?! I threw the bag away with more than 3/4 remaining because I couldn't find hardly any worth eating! Try another brand! This one isn't it!
(I lined up 4 pecans from a different brand next to these. You can see the difference between the other beautiful golden ones and these. It's REALLY noticeable. These are not good!)

Great tasting tasting pecans! I prefer the taste of these over some of the other organic pecans I've bought from Amazon, other online retailers and locally.

I have mold allergies and don't react badly to these pecans like I do from so many other companies.

Plus I love they're grown in the USA!

We make lots of 'candied' nut mixes with honey and other spices for snack food and these worked wonderfully - knowing they're organic makes them even better in this age of fumigation, irradiation and all that. They are smaller than 'traditional' pecans, and very tasty in any form.
