I am a baker. I use food coloring to color royal icing, buttercream, ganache, doughs, macarons... all kinda of treats. I’ve tried every kind of food color you can imagine. Americolor is my absolute fav. I use it as if I’m in my art studio at home mixing regular paints and it works just as beautifully as a high quality acrylic. The white is not really a gel as it is very liquid. I use it to make a bright white treat. I also use it as a base for other colors to make the other colors more vibrant. This is a must have for decorators.
