Make your own "skinny"/Keto syrups
Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2019
I got these to make some flavored sugar-free syrups for my coffee. Most of these don't have sugar (I believe butterscotch does).
I use 2oz glass bottles, I fill it 3/4 full with food grade vegetable glycerine (1/2 teaspoon has 11 calories/2.5 carbs, and a glycemic index of 3) I then add about 20 drops of liquid stevia and 20 drops of liquid monk fruit and 50 drops of this flavoring. I estimate that the 50 drops that I use is about 1/12th of the bottle, so this should make about a dozen bottles of syrup (24 ounces). There are 6 teaspoons in an ounce, so 12 teaspoons in 2 ounces, and since I use a serving size of a half of a teaspoon per cup of coffee, each 2 ounce prepared bottle should provide 24 servings. I use the bottles with dropper tops for ease of dispensing.
I bought six flavors (almond, butterscotch, butter pecan (my favorite), caramel, banana, and hazelnut) I made two bottles of each flavor and keep one set at home and one at work, so I always have flavors for my coffee.
