So I was a little too OCD about buying doopie bags... i read a ton of reviews. I ended up buying these from PetnPet and was not disappointed. They are the same size and thickness of the bags I previously bought. These bags work well for picking up after an 44 lb Australian Shepherd. I really like the green colour, matches her leash, harness, winter coat, life jacket- like I said I’m a bit OCD. Haha. Bottom line- good deal good bags. If you care about people seeing what you are carrying in these bags get the black ones. If you don’t, make yourself happy and brighten up your duty- the green are a nice colour. Oh and a few other plus points- in no particular order just as I thought of it-
1. that little sticker that you have to pull off to start the roll- comes off easily and does not tear other bags.
2. These are actually perforated so easy to pull off without tearing bags or struggling to find the end to tear off.
3. Fits in every dispenser I have, they have a centre core so rolls really easily. Cardboard so goes right in recycling.
4. Bottoms are SEALED. No holes, totally sealed.
5. Thankfully NOT scented. NO fake nasty migraine inducing gross perfumey “scent” on these ones! It’s poop people we all know what it smells like. 😂

I purchased these after a similar product was no longer in stock. I saw complaints of people calling the description misleading, bags hard to separate, and seems ripping. First of you encounter these issues check the other rolls. If the other rolls are the same return them. Like any product you may get one detected. Anyway I have yet to have these issues. The bags are bigger and easier to separate than the previous brand I ordered. The bags are also not flimsy like one reviewer said in my opinion. Another complaint was the cardboard core. I've found the core to hold up well and spin just like the plastic ones. I have to give a 5 star review due to the ease of use, durability, and price. Trust me if they were bad I would send them back and exchange for another box to make sure it wasn't just a quality control issue. Highly recommend these. Saves you a lot of money in the long run. The previous product I bought last May and used the final bag mid July. Paid 14.99. I expect these to last way longer since it's more bags.

Best value poop bags with good quality

Having had over 20 dogs these past 3 decades, a good supply of poop bags is the norm in our household. Over the years, the BEST ones we have used were bought from Costco but the supply is sporadic at best. They both 8 1/4" wide athough the Costco bag is 1 1/2" inches longer. Nevertheless, it remains more than sufficient to pickup large poop from our Rottweiler and perform the twist and knot to seal.
This Pet N Pet is a good second alternative. The reviews which claim its "thin" are not representative of its actual thickness. Find these more than adequate for its intended purpose. For carrying around we're using a poop bag pouch rather than those plastic cylinders so the center cardboard roll is not an issue.
These are the best value for it's quality. Easy to pull apart and open. In addition, the printed indicator removes the guesswork in finding the opening.
This box of 1080 bags should be good for a year with our two dogs. Will definitely be buying these again.

Edit: Average of 2 bags ripped per roll. 1 whole roll useless. I would return if I hadn't purchased in March. Save your money!

I recently reordered these bags. They used to be a 5 star product. Big bags, plenty thick, and most importantly...there was a gap in the perforation that allowed easy separating of bags, even in the winter. I saw a difference as soon as I opened the box. The last batch was all black, these are printed. I selected reorder so I didn't accidentally order the wrong thing. I can't say that these are bad....just average. I hope the vendor goes back to the old ones, otherwise I will have to find a new vendor.

Edit: I was contacted by the company (sorry Phoebe for not noticing earlier!) and they have stated that they are going back to their original manufacturer. I have happily given a couple of stars for their initiative and will update accordingly when I see the new (old) bags!

Edit: hats off to great customer service! They followed through on their promise and sent some bags. They actually sent 2 kinds. One has the separation and is just like the old bags, the other has no separation but tears like it should. Not sure what the plan is for future production but I am pleasantly surprised either way. On a side note, the company actually reached out months ago but I never got a notification on the Amazon app. They finally reached out to my email so not only great customer service but persistent! Thank you!

Excellent value and quality poop bags

This is the second time ordering Pet n Pet poop bags. First was Orange which impressed our household, decided to stock up with another box of green.

This is an excellent alternative. These are NOT "thin" as some reviews indicate. Find these way better than the average and more than adequate for its intended purpose which won't rip and will keep odors sealed.

I have been very happy with the Pet N Pet Earth-Friendly dog waste bags. They are thick enough to do the job without shredding, while thin enough to not feel wasteful and be easy to tie shut. The perforations between the bags make them easy to tear apart. The center of the rolls is made of cardboard instead of plastic, but they still work perfectly in the dispensers I have. I definitely plan to buy these again.

ANNOYING!!

I recently reordered these bags, and they are different from the first batch that I bought. The bags in the first batch felt a bit thicker, but the main difference between batches is that it is extremely difficult to tear the bags off at the perforation. It takes two hands to separate the bag from the roll, and that's really annoying when you have a dog hopping around barking waiting to be taken outside. It is also difficult to open the bag once torn off. I have taken to pulling apart a small bunch of the bags and leaving them on the table so that we don't have to waste time trying to get them apart when needed. I would never buy this brand of bag again.
3/4/19 update:. Despite the seller's offer to replace these bags for me, I have submitted my contact information to them twice and have not gotten a replacement.

UPDATE: LAST CASE PRODUCED MANY FAILURES - BAGS SPLIT APART

UPDATE: I am updating my review based on the last case of bags that I received in February, 2020. I've used at least 20 rolls so far and these bags are not the same quality as previous cases purchased. The bags split without warning, not at the seam...the plastic just tears apart. I thought it might be a bad roll or two but there have been so many failures that I will not order this brand again nor recommend them.

UPDATE: I am at the bottom of the case and about to reorder these bags. They have performed well this past year! I did encounter one problem. By the time I got to the last 15 rolls or so the seal used to secure each roll would not peel off the roll without tearing the first bag. I have been storing my bags in the garage but will change this practice. I live in a humid climate. The new case will be stored indoors.

Original Review: I am the master-in-chief of the poo patrol and these are the thinnest poo bags I have ever seen. I have three large dogs, one a Great Dane. Using these thin bags to clean up after the Dane was, well, scary. But....no failures to date. The bags are big enough to do the job. The color is great. I've been using green bags but the color proved to be a bad choice for me. My yard is very wooded. If I spot a pile I can clean it up and leave the red bag for later retrieval. It I am walking a dog and clean up after him I can leave the bag on the right-of-way and pick it up on the way back from our walk. The green bags are just too hard to spot but the red ones are very visible.

Original review 2/7/17: Bags are smaller/thinner than others that I have used in the past. They are adequate but I would not purchase these again in the future. The length on these are shorter than I thought they would be so some of the dog poop might get towards the top when picking them up, which may cause a mess when trying to tie the bag up afterwards. 2/8/17 Update (1 day): PET N PET Customer Service reached out to me yesterday to explain that they have updated their design since I've made my purchase so that the usable size of the bag are the same of that of other bags on the market. I was pleasantly surprised that they took the necessary action to reach out after my initial review in order to see what they can do to make me happy. I have raised my rating due to their great customer service since I feel that the time after a purchase is also very important. PET N PET have addressed my concerns and made me a happy customer.

Very dissatisfied. Won't buy again! With these bags they either don't open cause they are sealed at both ends and can't open...or both ends are open so that is useless also or it opens from the bottom. I don't have time to be standing outside in the freezing cold or pouring down rain trying to get these bags open!! I usually go thru 3-5 bags before I can get one open. Very disappointed.
