*UPDATED - READ ABOUT SAFETY SEAL

Bought two bottles of EssentialOxygen’s 3% hydrogen peroxide, one from Amazon and another from my local health food store. BOTH safety seals had been tampered with.

*** UPDATE - I reached out to EssentialOxygen directly to ask about the holes in the safety seals; Someone from the company contacted me 1 business day later to explain that their safety seals are meant to allow pressure to escape, not liquid. Unfortunately with supply chain issues, their seals and pressure release mechanisms have been less than ideal, resulting in inconsistent, sketchy looking holes. The holes are put there during the packaging process and they are aware of the issue. I appreciate that the company took the time to reach back out to me - perhaps they should add some information to their FAQs as this seems to be an alarming issue to consumers.

First time ordering and I am really creeped out. Upon opening the box I noticed that the plastic had a couple drops of fluid so I figured the seal had broke. When I opened the cap this is what I found. This is a non returnable item

This is really a great product. I found it to whiten my clothes and teeth. It's great at sanitizing the kitchen and bathroom. It made my carpets look great with steam cleaning. I'm moving up to the 13 percent for oxygen therapy and I'm super excited. I'm keeping mine in the refrigarator. This arrived on time in great condition. I'm very happy and if you haven't tried this.. You don't know what your missing. This has last me a month. And I have used this to clean everything!!! Bye bye killer eating cancer chemicals. Hello real world of the pure n simple.

I was a little skeptical from other reviews that mentioned the seal being tampered with. So when I opened the bottle and it had 5 tiny holes on the top, I emailed the company. This was their response: “The five tiny vent holes in the seal are supposed to be there and the product is safe to use. The little holes are intentional - so that if there is any expansion in the bottle there is a way for air to escape. These are special 'burping' seals for products with Hydrogen Peroxide. It is fully sealed and okay to use.” Good to know those holes are intentionally placed (see attached photo). Great customer service. And I’ve been using the product since, which seems to be helping my ear infection. Definitely will try it out for other purposes soon!

Tampered foil seal??

I just received and opened my package and went to check out the fluid when I noticed this hole in the foil seal that appears to be filled in with white glue or filler. I thought it was strange and went to contact EssentialOxygen, whom I was purchasing it directly from when I placed the order. The packing list instead lists a third party “I Buy Direct” and a sindhubazaar e-mail is listed. This is for the use of a stage IV cancer family member to use in cleaning things and personal hygiene to avoid toxins from other products which her body cannot handle the least of right now. Now I have no idea if she can use it! I’m way to nervous to have her try it when it looks extremely suspicious. Did they empty it and refill it with something else? A lesser grade version or worse? A waste of time, money, and as I can’t trust that it will come directly from the maker, I am too leery to repurchase it through Amazon! Which is a let down as I buy tons of stuff each year though this site.

Works great for many different purposes but I use it mainly to make my own mouthwash diluted with 50/50 Distilled water (16 oz total - makes four) and add essential oils of Peppermint, Tea Tree (both from Essential Oil Labs) and Oregano (Zane Hellas). Works great but just wish it was more available since I can't seem to a seller on Amazon anymore. – my last order was cancelled before I received it.
