A pleasant surprise ...

I was so disappointed when these arrived because they had a shiny, almost satin, feel to them which was not what I expected at all from the description. I put in for a return, but was advised Amazon would credit my account with no need to return. This is one reason I rave about Amazon. So I threw the pillowcases in with my regular wash and after drying the pillowcases they were soft and lovely, exactly what I had thought they would be originally. So today I messaged Amazon customer service and told them to charge me back because now that I’ve washed them, I love my pillowcases. Be aware if you don’t like sateen pillowcases, a quick wash will make it right!

I bought 20 of these pillow cases for the rooms at my small motel. The fabric is somewhat thin and the side stitching on every, single case (all 20 of them) is crooked. Some are as much 1" off, from the top of the case to the bottom. Wish I'd checked prior to washing since I'm not sure we'll be able to use these for the motel. In any case, I'd definitely not purchase again, for any reason.

Acutually I made a mistake and meant to order Queen Size but I guess I ordered the King size and queen sized pillow cases that don’t completely cover them but they work. I never owned kings sized pillows but I am glad I did because I am a disabled veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and suffered some serious injuries to my back and I can turn one of the pillows so I can wrap my leg over it and it reduces the pressure and pain on my back...go figure. However they are not as firm as I need them the be and would work better if they were firmer....

I ordered the King size in White for my very fluffy Queen-size pillows. Too long; my mistake. They have a slight off-white tone; not bright white. Well-made, but I'll return and keep searching for a "large" queen-size bright white pillowcase. Update: Just ordered the Gravity Sleep Oversize Pillow Case Extra Large Extra Tall Extra Wide 100% Cotton Pillowcase. 23Wx34L 300 Thread Count (2- Pack Queen White). Fingers crossed.

Wish the fabric was thicker over all, and maybe even less soft (I oddly prefer less soft fabric) but overall it's a decent product for a decent price. Don't know how long it'll last given how thin the fabric is, but it's stood up to a few washes already.

I think most people would like it. Especially those who like softer fabric that's breathable.

Nice but off white - not bright white:(

I like just basic white sheets for my vacation rental and I bought these because I keep running out of pillowcases. I was not super happy with them because they are very off-white they are not a classic white color like you would expect. They don’t exactly match the sheets but I bleached them & I think it light it up just a little bit. Look at the photo I added for comparison

I like these pillowcases. I was introduced to them when I purchased an Amazon combo pack of sheets and pillowcases. They are cool and smooth and very comfortable to sleep on. The "icing on the cake" is that when I remove them from the dryer, they are so easy to fold. Unfortunately, these pillowcases are not the exact match to the Amazon combo pack of sheets pillowcases in the same advertised color. Also, the fabric is not identical. Those that come with the sheets are smoother and cooler.

Nice sheets but missing thread count info

They are soft and seem to be of good quality. They are described as 400 thread count however there is nothing on the packaging stating that they are 400 thread count, which is unusual. They came in a cheap clear plastic bag and the label only says 100% cotton.
For this reason, I doubt that they are indeed 400 thread count and they don’t look like they are, unless AmazonBasics can prove it.

I ordered a very nice sheet set only to find out that it did not include pillow cases for some odd reason. Searched Amazon for dark gray pillow cases and came across these AmazonBasics pillow cases. They were urgently needed and arrived very quickly. The color is darker than I thought they would be and have a slight shiny quality to them. They also smelled weird out of the bag but I washed them and put them on and have enjoyed them ever since. They are not overly soft and the standard size was a great fit.
