Goodness packed in its same old fashioned box......1000s Of uses !
My favorites are
Killing Mold:. The recipe provided is 1 cup of borax combined with 1 gallon of hot water, and place in a spray bottle. Then spray on the moldy surface, let sit for several minutes or so, and then wipe it away.
Yahoo!! Google all the other 1000’s Of uses for this organic product!

Great product but terrible price increase!

I love this product but I'm just about done with Amazon. The price went up literally 33% in less than a month. I know we're heading into an inflationary time, but that's a RIDICULOUS increase. Will shop elsewhere. I pretty much hate amazon anyway.

A half-cup of this stuff goes into EVERY SINGLE LOAD of laundry I run. (Old washing machine, too!)
I add it before the laundry goes in, as soon as the water starts to cover the bottom. I use a small piece of PVC pipe to stir it around, so it mixes into the water without clumping), and then add my detergent, lastly the load. I also always do the 2nd rinse, just to better rinse/clear the soap out of my fabrics. I am around cigarette smoke a lot, and my clothes stink of it at the end of the day. The BORAX removes 100% of the smell, because it actually gets the nicotine residues out, which is what stinks! It's never faded my darks/brights, and it has no scent, so it doesn't mess with my fabric softener smell either.
I also use it for hard stains in my sink and toilet, and on my shower tiles when they start looking like there's a product buildup...much gentler than scouring, and works wicked fast.
I've also lifted oil spots off my driveway with it, AND once I dusted up and down the sides of my driveway, where the concrete meets the grass (ANTS COLONIZING, BIG CARPENTER ONES), and it single-handedly wiped them out PERMANENTLY. Grass did great, btw...no harm to it whatsoever.
There's like a zillion things you can do with this stuff...Magical must-have!!

20 Mule Team Borax is a product to which I had given zero thought since I saw it regularly on my mother's laundry shelf, well over 50 years ago.

I bought a box recently for making "slime" with my granddaughter.
After that I just placed it on my laundry shelf and forgot about it.

Recently, I happened to notice that the box had on it the words “detergent booster.”
I had just tossed a load of my husband's work clothes in the washer, and I thought, “okay, why not?”
I added a handful to the washer, and let me tell you, those clothes later came out of the dryer super clean and as fresh smelling as if I had just pulled them off the clothesline.

I use this product every time I wash a load of laundry now. I am in the habit of rinsing my laundry twice, and that along with the borax has made everything cleaner and fresher smelling than ever before.

I laid in a supply of four boxes, and I plan never to be without this washday product again.

If you bought a box for your kids to use for making “slime,” consider using the remainder with your laundry.
I think you will be pleased.

I started to purchase Borax after reading about how many great uses it has. It is a natural way to fight stains, kill bugs, and even fight mold, fungus, and bacteria. We've fought the battle with foot fungus and finally got rid of it with prescription medicines, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't still on our clothing. Bleach is too hard on the fabric and too likely to leave spots where the color is removed. The BEST and EASIEST way to clean your eye glasses is to take a jar and fill it with 2-3 inches of water and a spoon of borax. Throw the glasses in the jar, put the lid on, shake about 5 times and then take them out. They will be PRISTINE and as clean as they were the day you bought them. All of the nooks and crannies are CLEAN. The borax will dissolve any fingerprints, oils, grime....in seconds. You will be shocked at how easy and effective this is. Years ago, I learned, my mistake, that this product is good for killing fleas. While my husband and I were waiting for our home to be completed, we moved into an apartment. We had a Yorkie who had NEVER had fleas and all of a sudden she was covered with them. I followed all of the recommendations to rid our home of the infestation, but nothing happened. A neighbor suggested I use this. So I sprinkled it on the carpeted areas and then followed up by putting it on the grass (don't do this it WILL kill the grass). I left it on the carpet for 5 hours, while, of course, bathing our little girl once again and applying the vet recommended treatment, and then vacuumed and disposed of the bag. Not a flea remained.

On occasion, I sit fur babies for friends when they go on vacation and can't take their babies with them. A few days ago I had 2 fur babies dropped off. Needless to say, I DIDN'T know they were covered with fleas or I would have refused to watch them. In 2 short days, my fur baby was covered with fleas, as well as my throw rugs (I have hardwoods) and my furniture. I did everything you are supposed to do...bathed the babies, vacuumed twice a day, scrubbed, washed the throw rugs and their beds, all to no avail. They would be fine for about an hour and start digging again. When used the flea comb, I would get an average of 10 fleas off of each dog!!

Today, beginning at 5 a.m., I sprinkled the 20 Mule Team onto the carpeted areas, scrubbed floors and walls, vacuumed furniture, bathed the dogs (again), applied flea ointment, and then vacuumed up the powder off the carpeted areas. I finished at noon. It is now 3 p.m. and there are NO signs of fleas!! Oh, I also spread the powder in the gravel areas in my back yard and used another product (pet friendly) on the grassy area.

So in short, not only is this great for a laundry, household cleaning, etc., but it is FANTASTIC for eliminating fleas!!
