Vinegar CAN Make a Difference

Most of my life, I used store-brand vinegar because vinegar is vinegar. Then I started using PLATED. The recipes use various kinds of vinegar. When I make one of the recipes using my store-brand vinegar, they don't taste the same. So I tried a slightly better vinegar. And then, av even better vinegar. Then I tried Columela 30 Year Aged Sherry Vinegar. I won't continue my search for better sherry vinegar because I've found the best. It's amazing in my tomato soup, and such a remarkable vinaigrette! Try it. What a difference it makes.

Ordered this as it was highly recommended. What I received was thin and watery, with any nuttiness and caramel notes buried under an acridness reminiscent of vinegars that don't cost almost $30 a bottle. Expected something thicker and more complex at that price, and supposedly aged for so long. Save your money.

I first tried sherry vinegar in Spain and I was an instant convert. I had difficulty finding anything of this quality in local stores. This is the real deal, the good stuff. It has a deep, rich flavor and little goes a long way. I have just about run through the entire bottle in 2 weeks! Of course, I've been sharing, but I can't seem to get enough now that I've finally found it. It's pricey, but the quality is amazing. Excellently packaged and arrived in good time. Will be buying again...and again.

I have cooked with Sherry Vinegar for a long time, but have only used store brand stuff. I splurged on this and am very happy. My first use was for the avocado mix for avocado toast. It did not disappoint adding a depth and brightness of flavor that was superb!
