Finally found baking soda in a can!

So happy I found baking soda in a can with a lid. I find it messy and cumbersome to use the baking soda in a box to bake with, and it doesn’t seal back up. None of the grocery stores where I live carry canned baking soda, so I was thrilled when I found this one online! I already have the Clabber Girl brand in baking powder, so I know this is a good brand.

No "stay fresh" lids,false advertising.

I specifically ordered this (2 of them) because it states that its lid is "shake or pour," but you're shipping the cans that have the aluminum foil that you tear away as the seal and then just has the clear, plastic lid to cover it. That's not what the photo shows and it's not what is specified. The one pictured has a permanent white cap that you turn to either holes to shake or an opening to pour. False advertising .

A much better package for baking soda

I have always hated that baking soda comes in a box. After the box is opened there is no way to close it securely so the baking soda is sealed air tight. Plus the box takes up too much space compared to the small cylinders that baking powder comes in. Why this discrepancy in the containers between things that are so similar? I am SO glad I found this Clabber Girl Baking Soda!! I will never again buy any other brand entirely because of the package. Now I can store the baking soda in a secure container and it fits so much better in my cupboard because the cylinder is much slimmer than the box.

Baking soda is baking soda... nothing to add there. Having baking soda in a can with a lid to keep it sealed and fresh is the only way to go. No more buying the box kind and it going foul shortly after opening.

I know some ppl may disagree with me, and some ppl may think the cost for this item is way to high. And they are right!
You may think its just not worth it for the amount you get!
l can see your point of view
but
l have a far different take on it.
My view is this:
An opened box of Baking soda is only good for 6 months, then its old. So why buy a huge container if it will only lasts for 6 months? Makes no sense! Will l really be needing a lot of this? No.
l mainly buy this brand for the convienence of it !
Those yellow boxes of Baking soda is not one of my favorite things to grab and handle. I find it painful to hold!
I find it very arkward and clumpsy to hold ! I find it unattractive !
I don't even like the spout! Just to open that square box it feels as if l need a crowbar!
But
l find this baking soda to be so much better in many ways! Takes up less room.
Has a great grip.
Easy to use.
And has a replaceable lid.
And yeah, if l really want to, l can simply get one of those other arkward boxes again and just refill this one up! But no. No thanks, l happen to like this brand a lot!! ❤

Finally, baking soda in a solid container with a lid!!! I use it for heartburn, so I keep some baking soda by my bed. No more mess from knocking it over in the night. No more throwing out most of a package because it got muggy in my room. A little of this stuff goes a long way and it's really fine powder, dissolves quickly. Thank you!!
