We purchased this for our 2-year old toddler and it arrived with mixed reactions. While the table and chair are super easy to assemble, the chair requires an Allen wrench to install the REQUIRED safety screw. This seems like a hasty afterthought and reduces the convenience considerably. I want kids to be safe, but the manufacturer should’ve put more thought into this design.
The biggest problem for us however, is how tiny this set it. Our 30lb toddler looked like a giant using the chair and both pieces are light enough for him to move without any help (a mixed blessing to be sure). On the upside, the graphics are bright and colorful, the vinyl padding added some nice softness to the hard metal and I didn’t notice any sharp corners or obvious snag/pinch points in our admittedly short test run. Even the feet have rubber caps to help avoid scratching floors when this shifts around (and it will shift around).
Due to the light build and tiny size (pictured next to another table we have for the same use) we’ll be returning this set. If your toddler is smaller sized or your space is very limited, then this set could work for you. Otherwise, you may run into the same issues we did.
