5.0 out of 5 starsGreat value for a gaming chair, Why spend any more money? Very quick/Responsive customer service
Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2017
When I was first looking at this chair I saw complaints about it being too small for "bigger guys". I'm a pretty muscular guy I'm 6 3' 230 pounds and the chair is wide enough and tall enough to support me.
-The suspension seems solid and isn't being compressed too much by my weight.
-The padding feels great, I don't feel like I'm sinking into it too much and it is soft enough so that my back doesn't get sore from long sessions.
-The levers are firm and I can easily distinguish where and when it locks into place when I lean back the chair, I can almost lean the chair completely flat and with putting all my weight back the chair remains balanced.
-The head and back lumbar support are adjustable
- The arms will fit underneath a standard size desk
As long as you take the time to slightly tighten each side before going back to tighten all the screws it will be very firm. I had a slight problem with my chair and Homall was very quick to fix it. They responded within 12 hours to help me with a part for the chair.
Overall I'm very impressed with the quality and presentation of this product, I've owned a DXRacer Chair in the past and these are just so close in comfort that I don't see a reason to spend anymore money.

3.0 out of 5 starsWe, as a society, need to rethink chairs like this
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020
Look, whoever started the trend of leather gaming chairs needs a stern talking-to.

This might apply to all gaming chairs (I play games but wouldn't consider myself a serious gamer si IDK), but there are some serious problems with a chair like this:

1. Support

Look, I've sat in a million offices with $1,000 chairs designed by the world's leading back-support engineers and even those hurt your back after a while. Sitting fully upright like Queen Elizabeth for 8 straight hours will do that. That being said, I haven't had any issues with this chair in that regard. Except for the pillow. The freaking pillow.

This chair comes with this weird strap-on leather pillow that goes... somewhere?! It can go behind your back, but then your spine is forced to make an inverted C-shape that no human being can possibly enjoy. You can also strap it around the top like the headrest of a cheap dental seat but it literally does nothing for comfort or your neck.

2. Farting

Okay, okay, HEAR ME OUT ON THIS. This chair features a flat leather seat. Think that through. There's no mesh. No cloth. Your ass is literally suction-cupped to this leather panel. Where do you think that fart is going the second you feel the urge? If you're a gamer and are spending multiple hours in front of a screen, there's a big chance, you're gonna have to fart at some point. Do you peel your sweaty butt from the synthetic leather surface to let one rip? Or do you take your chances of a full-on backfire while seated?

And that's only the start of it.

This seat is made of a material that, smell-wise, remembers EVERYTHING. I kid you not, I clean this seat every day because of how bad it can smell. If my cat jumps up on it, it smells like kitty litter (bad girl!). If I fart on it, it smells like farts. If I drop a cheeto between my legs IT SMELLS LIKE CHEETOS. And these smells linger indefinitely. If you don't regularly clean this chair, it will start to smell like everything you've ever sat on.

3. Heat

If you're a human being and sweat when you're hot, ohhh boy, are you in for a treat. The adhesive properties of this faux-leather seat are honestly impressive. I haven't done this but I 100% believe if you sat on this chair naked for 20 seconds, you could pick it up with you and walk away with it stuck to your back.

In the winter it was fine, honestly. But once summer hit and I stared wearing shorts again and, Gods forbid, I didn't wear a shirt?! Game. Over. I was sitting upright like Queen Elizabeth all on my own in a desperate attempt to keep my back away from my own chair. And, without a comfortable black, you're sitting on a freaking stool. So be ready to crank the AC lest you become part of the chair like old Boostrap Bill stuck on the side of The Flying Dutchman

IN CONCLUSION: It's fine. Do I miss my old chair that completely broke? Yeah. Does this one look good? Yeah! Does it support my back and keep me 100% comfortable? NOPE. Should we, as a society, rethink chairs like this? Yes, I think so.

It's pretty awesome for the price in my opinion. I enjoyed how easy it was to put it together and how comfortable it was. Total build time was about 30ish minutes, it was simple enough and everything you need is included.

Solid frame, fairly minimal padding (some brands offer more padding, but also offer to take more of your money). If you're looking to save some cash, and want something that is comfortable and quality, this chair is doing fine by me.

The arm rests are static in place, non adjustable. This may, or may not bother you. It's comfortable and serves me well. If anything changes I'll follow up about it!

Alex
4.0 out of 5 stars Good chair with great price but some minor issues.
Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2018
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
I've had this chair for about a month now and these are my thoughts.

Pros:
- Easy to setup. Many reviews claimed it took them about 30 minutes, and it took me about that same amount of time. There's only a few pieces and they all fit together really well. There was one hole that was covered up by fabric, but a small incision remedied the issue.
- Comfortable. This isn't the MOST comfortable office chair I've sat in, but it IS the best at this price point. The included lumbar and head cushion are a great inclusion but are a little stiff for my taste. Probably just need to be broken in.
- Price. This chair is an insane value. Compared to other "racing" chairs I've tried, this pretty much is on par. The chair feels a little stiffer than other racing chairs, but the shape and seat feel pretty much the same.

Cons:
- Top heavy. Every now and again, I'll go to reach for something on the floor and manage to tip the chair over. This is due to its small base and larger seat. I'm a fairly clumsy person but I've never tipped an office chair before.
- Non-adjustable arm rests. It's a minor thing and for me they are at about the right height, but it would be nice to have. There are other parts of the chair that aren't adjustable, such as how far forward the backrest is, but this is the one that stands out most.

Overall, this is a good chair, but not a great chair. It meets all of my needs and works for me, but I could definitely see this not working for someone else due to the lack of adjustments in general. It definitely needs a break-in period before it starts to "feel" like an office chair, but once it gets to that point the chair is fairly comfortable for long periods of time. It's price is a major selling point and if you're looking for a "gaming" chair or just need something with a tall back like I do, this is definitely worth it.

I bought this chair in July it is now Aug same year! I have had tighten the bolts. I am 230lbs 6.3 foot man. I been having issues with this chair for the last month. I ripped apart the fabric on the bottom and found there are 2 pieces of wood and a metal bar welded to a tube frame. The weld broken at both ends of the frame.

EDIT:

I contacted the seller about warranty and sent them a picture of the damage. 2 Days later they send me a replacement seat. I have changing my review because of the customer service and fast turn around for warranty replacement parts. Over all I love this chair.

EDIT:

Once again the chair failed at the same spot. I bought one for my son and I failed at the same spot.

5.0 out of 5 stars a very pleasant surprise - fantastic quality, easy to assemble, great attention to detail
Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2020
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
My son saved his money and pooled money from his 10th birthday to purchase this chair by himself. No sooner had we pulled the trigger on the purchase and I began preparing him for disappointment. "Things aren't always as nice in person as they seem online" and "a lot of desk chairs are poorly made, especially in this price range--I know it seems expensive to you, but lots of nice office chairs go for three- or four-hundred dollars," etc.

It was also backordered and wouldn't arrive for almost two weeks.... yet it came nearly a week ahead of the estimated time. That was pleasant surprise number one.

I stuck with my theme: "it might have missing parts, or it might be ripped or stained or broken or the holes for the bolts and screws might not line up," etc.

Then we unboxed it.

Everything inside was very nicely packaged. Everything that could possibly dent or scratch was wrapped in foam. Everything else was sealed nicely in plastic. The bolts and screws were clearly labeled and included the Allen wrench/#2 screwdriver combo.

I persisted. "A lot of times, the places where the bolts go don't line up with the holes. And we're going to need to keep tightening the bolts every now and again to keep it from getting loose, okay?" He was fine with that.

We proceeded. The directions were clear. (Minor wonkiness from some oddly translated bits, but nothing too bad and there's very little that you can screw up here anyway. Most things only go on one way. The armrests were the only unclear part... but they turned out to be identical and interchangeable so there's no way to mess up their installation, either!)

Step by step, we put it together. The bolts lined up. Not only that, but they came with blue threadlocker on each bolt to help keep them in place for the long run. That was a very nice touch.

In the end, everything went together as it should in a perfect world, which seems very rare in my experience especially in products at this price point.

My son sat in it. It's a little big for him (definitely an adult-sized chair) but it still works and he's only going to keep growing, so I consider that a plus. As stated in the description, it's PU and not real leather, but it is really well done PU, I must say. Not only does it feel more like leather than most, it doesn't smell bad, either. No smell at all, no need to air it out.

I really have nothing negative to say about the chair. Reading back over my review, it sounds like I'm getting paid or reimbursed or something, and all I can is... I wish!

My son definitely thinks I'm crazy for preparing him for a let-down. Maybe the next expensive thing he saves his money toward will be a piece of junk, and then he'll see! This chair, however, is amazing and I would 100% recommend it for anyone from age 10-110. If you're on the fence about this chair, I say go for it. There are lots of junky chairs and desks and furniture out there, and a chair from "Homall" (really Furniwell who apparently sell under many names and use Gmail for their email account) didn't inspire confidence... but if I ever somehow find myself in the market for a gaming chair (or perhaps whatever else this company makes) I would start my search with them for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars #1 Best seller for a reason

I previously passed on this chair for something twice the price, thinking that it would be worth the investment. I was so disappointed that I went back and ordered this chair instead and have not regretted it a moment since. Not only does this chair look better but it feels great. And for about 100$ you can't beat that. One part showed slightly scratched but I think this is a packaging/shipping issue so I won't hold it against the chair as a whole (see picture below). The parts feel sturdy and the design is better than some more expensive chairs. The wheels roll well on my carpet flooring. The construction holding the back to the base with two hinges as opposed to one I feel gives this chair more leaning capability than some others. I always feel secure no matter what angle I set the back at. This chair is the #1 best seller for a reason. It is a great bang for your buck and a non-expensive way to improve any PC gaming experience.

1.0 out of 5 stars I am only 5 feet tall.... So anyone TALLER than that should NOT buy THIS chair.
Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2019
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
In 30 years I have owned 2 desk chairs. This chair I owned for exactly 1 year. After buying buying this chair and not immediately returning it I have arm and back problems and I almost know it was because of THIS chair.
. I sell things online for a living and have tortured myself all year in this medieval contraption.
. No cushions at all just plywood and 1 sheet of foam for the seat, the same for the back.
. I am only 5 feet tall so anyone taller than that should not buy this chair because you too will not be able
to rest your arms either.
. The arm rests do exist but they are only made out of hard cheap recycled DIRTY plastic
. No shock absorption at all.
. The only reason for the pillows and racing wheels is to hide how cheaply it is made.
. The piston on the height adjuster went out about a year ago and that did not help my knees.
(((FYI. first time ever that duct tape did not fix the problem)))
. It might lean back... but really whats the point if the pillows are pushing out your back and the seat hurts.
. I knew the armrests were NOT adjustable but I had no idea that the height would be for a 5 year old starving Myanmar child refuge height.
. Also because I had no arm rests for a year I caused strain to my tendons.
. I just switched back to my childhood desk chair and I am so much happier.
. The pillows always fall down and out of place so the chair is never the same one day to the next.

PLease don't think, that this is me ranting.
Because it is not.
I truly think that this chair will hurt you too if you buy it. That is the reason I uploaded some more photos to help you make a reasonable and practical decision that your mother would approve of.

Also remember you have 30 days to return the chair before it is yours FOREVER (no take backs) in the event that you already made the regrettable mistake of ordering the chair.

1.0 out of 5 stars HOW TO ASSEMBLE && REVIEW!!!!
Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017
Color: RedVerified Purchase
For the price, it's great. The instructions are completely useless!

Here is HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

The bolts come in 3 sizes which I will refer to as SMALL, MEDIUM, and LARGE as well as 2 screws.
Make sure to test fit each screw by hand before just assuming its the right one!! This is what I did and my seat install was maybe 20-30 mins by myself!

Step 1: For the base to attach to the bottom seat, use 2x LONG and 2x SHORT bolts. The 2 LONG go toward the front of the seat and the 2 SHORT go into the back.

Step 2: 2x LONG and 2x SHORT. We will be attaching the back of the chair to the 2 side brackets. the LONG bolts go into the top hole, and the 2 SHORT go into the bottom. We now have 4 MEDIUM screws left to use.

Step 3: 4x MEDIUM screws are used to attach the arm wrests to the bottom of the chair, and you can slide them in or out depending on what you want.

Step 4: 2 screws left over. We put the plastic cover on FIRST on either side of the chair to cover the metal brackets. Make sure to line up the plastic with the hole, and while keeping the screw on the tip of the screwdriver making sure the hole is lined up, go ahead and attach these.

Step 5: Go ahead and put the wheels on the base, and reference the picture to see how the hydraulic pump is attached. Just go ahead and push those wheels into place firmly, and push the hydraulic pup and then the base on top of it while they chair us upside-down firmly.

Step 6: After going around 1 more time to make sure all bolts are hand tight and 1/4 turn, Attach the pillows and enjoy!

REVIEW:

This chair is an amazing deal for the PRICE. If you want more cushion, extra features, whatever, be looking to pay close to 3x the price. This chair is a huge upgrade from my previous office chair that was completely ripped, loud, and broken. Honestly, anything would have been an upgrade. For me, being 5'10" and 175, this chair is extremely comfortable. Do I wish it had extra butt padding? Sure. Is that why I bought this chair? No. I game for 2-5 hour sessions normally and this chair offers great lumbar support via the pillow and the arm rests are super comfy. It's great for the price. 4 stars for now until more time has passed.

Update 2/19/2019!!!!

-The bolts have worked their way through the chair cushion, and now poke into my ass every time I sit down. It actually ripped a hole in my jeans before I noticed what had happened. See Pictures!

-The other day, I was leaning a little back in the chair with my butt forward and the extra weight on the front part of the chair caused the wood to snap in half. This is the wood base that you sit on

-Obviously this chair held up for about a year or so and just completely turned to crap. Buy a decent 100$ office chair. Not this. I thought racing chairs were better for some reason as I like them in my cars, and pro gamers use them. DONT DONT DONT

1.0 out of 5 stars UPDATED REVIEW: DO NOT BUY! DO NOT! The company forces good reviews...please read.

Ordered white, got blue. One of the arm rests was backwards, easy enough to fix, but one of the pre drilled screw ports was misthreaded and cause the screw to strip on one of the arm rests. Didn't matter too much because even the arm rest that was installed correctly was loose after two days. Only reason it's not one star is because it's technically functional, but it's crap. I feel like i would have been better off saving up for the dxracer or a similar, quality, gaming chair.

UPDATED REVIEW. Was two stars, now one star because of their terrible customer service. They approached me about my bad amazon review, good start, but they REFUSED to rectify my dilemma until I REMOVED MY REVIEW!!! You cannot hold reviews hostage, that's not how it works. I told them I would GLADLY change my review upon receipt of a proper working chair, to which they, again, refused stating that until my review was down they wouldn't fix my chair or replace it even though it's under warranty. I've never delt with a less professional company. I have transcripts of my emails and they are literally bullying me into deleting my review or they won't help me. I don't know if warrant laws apply in China, because upon deciphering they're poorly written emails they made it clear that they wouldn't budge. So here I am out $110, plus the warranty because they can't do business properly or actually help their customers without damnding they remove bad reviews. THATS WHY THEY HAVE A FOUR STAR RATING. DONT BE FOOLED LIKE IWAS!! Thy can suck it and eat my one star...and they're lucky I can't give zero or negative.
