I purchased this service when I purchased a LTE router made by Netgear. Glad I did as you cannot get any help from Netgear even though they say they offer it for free within the first 90 days. I tried multiple ways to get help from Netgear to no avail. So I called up Asurion and their service tech was great! I had only had the router about 5 days when I ran into an issue. Asurion was very responsive. I still have not received any help from Netgear and it has been almost a week since I tried to get help. It is lousy one has to buy tech support because the manufacturer won't honor its own commitment to help the purchaser. I'll think twice before I buy another Netgear product.

Asurion warranty FAIL. Paid for protection on my new printer purchased 9-29-19. Printer went bad 4-4-21. Tried to contact Asurion. You can only contact them via their website, no phone number, no email available. Their website said to call Canon, saying it is still under warranty. It was not. chat had no answer. I called Amazon, they gave me an email and a phone number. I emailed Asurion, I get a response saying they do not open emails. I get another response asking for more info. I email them the whole story, they say go to their website and file a claim, same problem, says it is under Canon warranty. Then I get an email saying they have canceled my policy and given me a partial refund for the insurance, but no the printer. So now I have a broken, unwarranted printer.

I purchased the plan only because I knew the customer support that came with my Royal cash register was unreliable. Asurion's description of 24/7 tech support grabbed my attention, and it's the only reason I got the product. In fact, it's the only reason I ordered the Royal cash register! I have two other Royals, and when I've called their CS before, I've wasted an average of an hour per call, and I have never gotten the answer I was looking for!

Unfortunately, during set up of my new Royal I had an issue, and when I called Asurion, they informed me that for tech support on my product, I had to contact Royal's customer service! I can do that for FREE! Absolutely NO REASON to have their plan. So I cancelled it. And I sure won't buy it again in the future! Don't advertise something you don't provide!

I had the worst experience ever. I purchased warranty for my hp laser printer. Most of us are working from home now a days. My printer went down. I called Hp and they suggested that it was more expensive to repair than to fix, to call my insurance company and let them know. I am working from home, I need my printer. I called Asurion and all they did was give me the run around for 8 days. Finally I talked to one of the supervisors and we agreed that I had to obey by the contract which stated that if I did not get my mail in box for my printer that day, he would try to see what he could do for me then. I agreed the box never came, the manager called me back and finally on day 9 without a printer he submitted a request for refund when this could had been done since day one. I would never purchase any other extended warranty from Asurion ever again. I used to purchase from them and never needed them. They are the worst insurance company in the industry right now. Buyer be ware !!!

I miss the days when you got a product and paid for a protection plan or warranty you didn't have to look up the information and print it yourself. I have to pay for the paper and the ink...plus the time involved...just send me what I paid for!

This is the first time I've filed a claim with Asurion. Overall, my experience was excellent. I do not know what "thickness" refers to in your rating system so I left it blank. Since I received a full refund for the printer I purchased thru Amazon, I'm understandably happy with the result. I particularly appreciated the courteous and responsive service from the lady rep at the other end of the line at Asurion. She was very professional. Also, the shipping box that was sent to me with the padding included inside was well done and, again, very much appreciated. The prepaid shipping label was expected but nevertheless nice. I would recommend Asurion whole-heartedly for anyone buying any item Asurion covers. Keep this up and your business will no doubt grow. Well done people!

Last Jan I purchased a scanner, that we were not happy with so I returned it. Until today, I thought they would have known that no one needs a "warranty" on nothing, especially for 4 years! Yes, it is my fault. I should have taken more time to figure out that I was taken from this company. I was going thru a family emergency, with the declining health of my mother-in-law and then my step father ... beginning last fall, thru June this year. It is too late for me to get my money back .. but not you!
BEWARE IF YOU PURCHASE THIS "WARRANTY" AS IT IT USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't even know if you buy something that needs to have a warranty for it .. just want your money! Buyer, BEWARE!

My printer was displaying a message to replace the Waste Toner Box. According to the User Guide, the message was in error, because I haven't printed enough pages to warrant replacing the box. I called Asurion to discuss the situation. We tried a couple of things to clear the message, but it remained, so they assigned a claim number and sent me packaging to send the printer in for repair. I shipped the package late on Sunday afternoon. They notified me 2 days later that they had received it and repairs were underway. I got another notice when the repairs were completed and the printer was on its way back to me. The printer arrived on Saturday afternoon and the gentleman who delivered it was kind enough to bring it into my house, since I cannot lift more than 10 lbs right now. The time span was 7 days and I was thoroughly impressed by how quickly everything was resolved - especially during the holiday season.
