GREAT WARRANTY - GRATEFUL CUSTOMER

I purchased a HP printer in October 2017 and purchased the Asurion warranty with it. It stopped working correctly. I contacted Asurion. They sent me a prepaid label to send them my printer and that very same evening I had my credit so I could purchase a new printer. THAT IS SERVICE. So you bet I purchased their warranty with my new printer. Thank you very much.

What warranty?

I purchased this warranty for a portable monitor. Today when my monitor did not work (bought in June). I filed a claim on line, only to be told to contact the manufacturer. An hour and a half later, I was no closer to getting help. Amazon finally helped. But this was a waste of money.

Full Disclosure: I've not yet used this specific protection plan, but I've purchased from this organization before, and I've had no problem filing claims when I needed to. I left the tech support section of this review unrated since I've not yet needed it. But I suspect I will when it comes time to set it up. that part terrifies me.

As far as previous experience with this group is concerned, the company honored the protection plan I had purchased on a low-end piece of fitness equipment. I had my refund promptly and without resistance or jumping through one hoop of indignity after another. Most people think these protection plans are a waste of money, and maybe they are; but I like the idea of knowing that for a certain time at least, I'm protected.

The plan goes into effect on the date of purchase of the plan rather than the date of receipt of the product. Nitpicking, I know. Hopefully, they would not nitpick if that becomes a factor 4 years from now.

They processed my claim very quickly. The only problem was that heir tech support was very inadequate and the cost for sending the item back was very expensive do to paying for a large enough to ship it via ups,
