Where to even begin...

While this tower is half the price of the original learning tower, it has so many imperfections! Like others have mentioned, the paint job is laughable, it's dinged and scratched in many places, despite coming in excellent packaging, so this is a quality control issue. The washers are bigger than a few of the holes, so it splinters the wood once the screws go on. The smell of paint is overwhelming, making me question how safe this paint is for the little ones. The instructions are lacking, nowhere does it say how to use the washers. An amateur DIYer would not notice until they're left with the washers at the end. It's so wobbly, doesn't come with felt pads. I put my own and doubled them on one side to stop the wobble. Oh, and one of the sides has an extra hole, again terrible quality control!
If I had to guess, I'd say the gray one is the worst pick as you can probably see imperfections more than with the other colors. Also, as someone mentioned the gray does have a bluish tint.
