These dimming switches are inexpensive but I'm afraid you get what you pay for. I immediately had one light at the end of the circuit flicker if full power was applied at the dimming switch. Since it was only one of many lights and the flickering stopped when less than full-power was applied, decided I could live with these switches.
In the meantime I figured I'd take advantage of the seller's offer, which was placed in the packaging of this item, for a free dimming switch or 3-way switch. Since I purchased several of these units I had multiple offers for free switches. Typically sellers don't honor multiple free giveaways to the same customer, so I inquired with the seller. I explained that I had no 3-way switches in my house that needed to be replaced, so would it be okay to get 2 of the dimming switches instead? If not, no big deal, but don't even bother to send the 3-way switch to me as I have absolutely no use for it whatsoever. I'm pretty sure the seller is a non-native English speaker because after multiple emails back and forth I don't believe the seller ever understood what I was asking for. The seller kept coming back and telling me they weren't willing to send 2 free products to me, which I understood and was perfectly fine with. The problem was that they kept trying to get me to buy their 3-way switch, which as I explained multiple times to the seller, I have absolutely no use for. Bottom line in terms of the offer: I never got ANYTHING for free from them, not even a single dimmable switch. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Now that a few weeks have gone by I have more issues. For one, multiple lights now flicker and I have to turn the power down to about 50% to stop the flickering. It's so dark I can't see now, so I have to replace these switches.
Furthermore, there are tiny LEDs on the switch itself that indicate the amount of power being applied. No power = no LEDs on, full power = all LEDs on (there are 7 LEDs that show power level). I purchased these units on September 27, 2019. It's now December 31, 2019 and several of the LEDs are now burnt out and not working. See attached pictures.
Bottom line: Spent a couple of extra bucks and get quality switches. These switches are low quality. And don't bother with seller's offer for free additoinal products from them.
