Used for seasoning my cast iron.

I purchased for seasoning my cast iron, it performs so well! High smoke point, and an excellent coating. Highly recommend for this purpose, it’s the best oil for seasoning! If anyone needs to know; cast iron needs scrubbed (steel wool and baking soda usually does it) and then seasoned for a few hours in the oven, on 325*F. Rub the pan down with a thin coating, towel most of the oil off, and set upside down into the oven.
For cooking, just go low and slows the pan evenly heats and maintains heat extremely well. Wash with only water while warm, use rock salt or a bristle brush to get off food. Don’t use soaps, totally unnecessary. Dry off or leave on the burner to allow the heat to evaporate excess water. It should only need re-seasoned once a year, with daily use. Avoid cooking tomatoes, the acid can break down the seasoned coating more quickly.
