I'm not big into computer chairs so I cant say how this compares to other chairs of similar value but I personally really like it. Very comfortable, easy to put together and has a great lumbar support. I am using it for work where I am behind a desk for 8+ hours a day. Will update in the future to say how it holds up.

The only thing I wish was different is I wish it was lower. It fits under my desk fine and the arm rests are great, I just like lower sitting chairs. Not a huge deal though as I am sure I will get used to it quickly.

Update 2022: I've been using it consistently at work and it's held up great. Only issue is the left arm pad has somehow managed to come loose at the back screw. Not a huge deal but I figured I would mention it.

Loved at first - Disappointed Now

I have actually purchased 4 of these chairs just because of the comfort level of them. However, I am now noticing the first two (Black ones) I purchased is starting to bubble up and peel. Be very wary of everyday use, because apparently, the cover wears out quickly. I have never been so disappointed in a product or a company. Especially when they DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! A chair should not be peeling like this at barely 4 months old. 1 was purchased November 14, 2019 and the other November 20, 2019. The first picture was when it started bubbling on February 18th, the 2nd picture is that bubble today. I have had to put tape on it to keep it from getting worse. Do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY IF YOU PLAN TO SIT IT IN REGULARLY!!!!!

The product description claims this is a leather chair. Not true ! It is made from Bonded leather which Wikipedia defines as : " Bonded leather, also called reconstituted leather or blended leather, is a term used for a manufactured upholstery material which contains animal hide. It is made as a layered structure of a fiber or paper backer covered with a layer of shredded leather fibers mixed with a polyurethane binder that is embossed with a leather-like texture"

The " Ergonomic " portion of this chair leaves it impossible to sit back in this chair.
You end up in this weird chest thrust forward , head leaning back, lets go on a roller-coaster position.
I am sliding forward on the "bonded leather" which leaves my hips in the wrong place and therefore my back is no longer support by the "Ergonomic " portion of this chair (aka overstuffed lower back padding")
If the school custodian had not thrown out the box this came in - I would be dissembling this giant waste of money and sending it back!!! Don't waste your time or your money. Get something else!!!!

I bought this 12/31/2019. I assembled it middle of January and finally started using it then for a few hours a day nearly every day. Just this morning (June 21, 2020) my roommate asked me what happened to my chair. I looked under the chair and saw the metal support bracket that automatically adjusts the lumbar support had snapped in half. See the picture I included with this review. When I assembled the chair I even thought there was quite a bit of pressure on that thin little bar. I have no idea when this happened because I wasn't sitting on the chair when the bracket snapped in half. For all I know, it happened months ago in the middle of the night. I had noticed the lumbar support wasn't what it was but thought it was just getting "broken in", not that it had completely snapped in half.

In addition to the poor design of the lumbar bracket, the chair is horribly squeaky and the "leather" is the junkiest crap ever. It literally starting falling off within a month of using it.

Do NOT buy this chair unless you want to throw away your money on something that is complete trash!

UPDATE JULY 24 2020

Amazon did accept a return for a full refund but it was quite a pain. Even though it was broken they demanded I ship it back and I no longer had the box. I offered to drop it off at the local Amazon warehouse in the Twin Cities or Kohls. They insisted I ship it. I had to ship it in 3 separate boxes and haul it to UPS.

When I questioned them on the warranty they said the warranty is only valid for the original return period which is only like 30 days. I questioned the legality of that and they said the warranty covers replacement after the original return period.

After years of frustrating cheap office chairs I ended up buying an open box Herman Miller Aeron from Amazon Warehouse. I got a $1400 chair for $900. Money well spent. Im getting to the point I'd rather buy once and done then try to find the perfect office chair for less money and having to replace it every two years and deal with the frustrating return process.

This chair is initially impressive, but uncomfortable after several hours of sitting. The lumbar support is not shaped properly, and sticks too deep into the spine. The back angle is unable to statically adjust, and the gimmicky recline feature does little for an active work session

This chair was purchased b/c my husband has a bad back but sits at the computer for most of the day. It has not only made work enjoyable but has helped with his lumbar support. It took about 30 minutes to set up and has worked great. My daughters love it b/c the arms fold up to where they can bring the chair closer to the desk. Very happy with this purchase.

Was worried because it is cream colored... sometimes cream is too yellow sometimes you wonder why they did not just call it white... behold a nice cream color chair full of suprises!

The gizmos to lower and adjust chairs are nicer than most I have had in this price range in the past.

There are a couple of adjustments, it took a little messing with till I got the back to give how I wanted for comfort and feels very solid! I would buy this again if given the choice.

Pretty solid chair. I’m 6 foot 240 and I feel pretty safe sitting in this chair. The lifting arms are the biggest reason I bought the chair; allows for some space saving when not occupied. The backing of the chair has lumbar support which feels really good when you sit up and sit back to the chair. I’d buy this chair again if I ever needed a replacement due to me already knowing it’s a solid chair
