The usb receiver is tucked away next to the battery compartment. I didn't see it and thought that it was packed without it. I sent an email to the company and they promptly responded with the information to look next to the battery compartment on the inside and there it was! My only issue is that it doesn't come with a battery. Electronics used to always have batteries included if they were required. Another sneaky way to cut costs I guess.

Perfect for Laptop

In general I do a lot of research when buying products, even really insignificant products like a hairbrush or a computer mouse. I was looking for a new mouse to use at work. I wanted it to be pretty small, yet had the side buttons that allow you to go backwards or forwards on a web page. And most importantly, wireless.

I looked into the different types of finger grips used with mice. I did purchase this mouse for the office; A great feature of this though is that the small USB that comes with it (that people usually lose) is stored underneath. I don't have any other experiences with wireless mice that do this. You'll also see in this picture that some of the ""feet"" have rubbed away, but that has not affected the performance and I don't really care about that. This mouse even has the CPI button to adjust the mouse speed."

Easy, silent, low profile

Great mouse. I was never bothered by the mouse clicking noise, but I needed a new mouse as my old battery operated one, kept needing a new battery every couple of days, then had to click multiple times to get it to work. So I ordered this one and Amazon delivered the next day. Very easy to use and it really is silent. I need to get one for my son who clicks incessantly with his games! Easy to charge, and mouse works even while charging 🙂

Mouse died 4 months and two days after original purchase

Up until last night I would have said it was a good value. I bought it for my work laptop. It's had... literally only a few hours of actual use as I typically just use the touchpad on the computer. It's never been dropped or anything like that. But last night I was using it and it started to act erratically and then stopped. I tried moving the USB dongle to other ports and windows told me the device had malfunctioned. The it stopped recognizing it altogether. I change the battery, rebooted the computer and still nothing. I tried a mouse from another laptop and it works fine. I tried this mouse on another laptop and nothing. Not sure what could possibly have gone wrong, but I can't get it work. I'll probably replace it with something that has a warranty. It was inexpensive, so not a big deal, but I guess you get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

has sharp edge, rubs and irritates finger

What I like about the mouse, is it recharges, though doesn't hold a charge too long. The biggest problem is the right edge of the mouse is not smooth, and rubs against my finger, irritating my finger and making it red. Also, the mouse does not have an "ergonomic" design, it is simply slim but does not fit the shape of your hand. Other problems, the USB connector fob is held into the mouse magnetically, and if you are transporting the mouse it can fall out and then you cannot use the mouse. The charging cable is fairly short and very stiff, so it is hard to use the mouse and charge it. There is no indicator of a low charge on the top of the mouse, so you can't tell when it is low. Overall, one of the most poorly designed pieces of equipment I have purchased in the last few years. I will be returning it.

Nice mouse, but right click never worked.

I have 3 of these. I absolutely loved the first one, so I bought two more for my sons' school computers. One is fine, but I realized that the second one the right click button doesn't work. I went to return it, and it says it isn't eligible for returns. It has never worked! I don't understand why it can't be returned. It's been one month, but I didn't realize immediately that it didn't work, then Christmas, my son on college break, etc. so I just realized it's defective. I don't know how to contact the seller, but I will be more than happy to change my review to five star if they can fix this because I otherwise love this mouse.

Good find!

I got this to keep in my work bag as a backup/when I work from home. I will say the first impression wasn't stellar. The top plastic has a cheap look/feel to it. But it also makes up in some nice touches. For example, the USB fob. I was apprehensive about the keep slot for it because there wasn't something that made it feel or look actually secured. But turns out, there's magnetic component so it gets sucked in rather than loosely placed. Battery power seems as advertised. I haven't charged mine in about a month and it's still going. Ergonomics is about what you'd expect based on the photos.
