Easy to get set up

Easy to get set up though I have a bunch now, we are turning the house smart but little here then little there and I buy what I can get a deal on when I can buy, that was these this time. Easy to use and what I like about these compared to round ones is I can get two on the outlet if I need. I am able to use my smart devices to control! And with in the app to control I can set up timers for when I am away or just normal use. Like I use for dining accent lights and they come on when we normally start dinner and turn off after we have left. So I don't have to remember, but then also if we are there and I want on easy peasy just tell the smart outlet to turn on, no need to climb up and flip a switch (my switch is above cabinets)

I’m not a paranoid person but this violates many standards I know from my technical job.

I can’t write an accurate review because I would not get past setup, I will trash these ASAP.

You MUST give this device your network password!!!???

That is how hackers take control of your devices and networks - no way to explain theirselves out of that one!

I must admit I hesitated for a while before tackling this. I have anything that makes me think I need to be
"tech Savvy" Surprisingly, these were super easy to install. Easy Peasy is more like it. Plug them in, download the app, follow the basic instructions and WAH LAAAA, you now have a smart home (well at least 2 smart appliances :) You plug in the plug to wall unit and what ever you plug into the device can be monitored remotely. Once everything was installed correctly, I was amazed and pleased with the results. The little devices are small and blended nicely with my wall plugs. Everything is managed right in the palm of hands. I also think they are sturdy and really durable, you can just feel how nicely made they ae when handling them. Now I need more than 2 because I'm hooked.

I initially had difficulty with this device due to faulty app. I contacted customer service which took hours since they are located in Hong Kong, but once they received my message they repaired the app immediately. I am now able to use this device without difficulty. The app is pretty easy to use, I have never used a smart plug before and I found it easy to set up. It is compatible with Alexa through the Skills and Games tab. Instructional video is on their website Consciot.com. I am now giving the full 5 stars since the app was repaired quickly, good customer service (They are on time delay since they are in Hong Kong), and it works as advertised.
