Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019
I'm glad I finally decided on this keyboard vs the others. I've been using this keyboard for about a week and I've been happy with the it.

Pros
- Easy set up and pairing to 3 devices. I have this paired to my Note 10 which makes texting a lot easier.
- No double key strokes or anything weird i've read about on other bluetooth key boards.
- Fast waking from sleep.
- Cheap AF

Cons
- Not ergonomic as advertised. I'm a chiropractor and know what ergo is, and this keyboard is far from it.
- Micro USB charging port. Come on, it's almost 2020, USB-C is the standard.

1.0 out of 5 starsit’s a no for me. And should be for you too. I went through what 5 now???

Update 04/02/2020
First off I hope everyone is safe and healthy.
Now I believe in the review process. It lets us give an honest opinion of products. It allows us to honestly tell what we think. Now this vendor in no way has a quality product in my opinion. I tried to work with them and give them many chances. Now I get this email from them. I will never change a review or be bought

We offered free code for you to order a same replacement on Feb 12, 2020.
I just noticed that you ordered a different model HW192 not the same replacement HB192.
Please find the attachment to check it.
Even it is your mistake that ordered a different model, we still can offer a same replacement to your address directly.
Due to the Covid-19, the same replacement is out of stock.
It will be in stock in a week, we will sent it to you directly by then. Is it fine for you?

Considering the customer service and you got refund and got a working full-size keyboard, I wish you can update the rating better.
It is important for us.

I am sincerely waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.

Update 03/18/2020
So the mfr keeps asking me to update my review for a keyboard that does not work since they sent me a different keyboard that does work

Yeah. I am taken back too. Might I add the keyboard shuts functions off while using it. Ummm I want function keys. Not option keys. I hit f10 to step thru code and I swap windows. Not cool. Look elsewhere these keyboards are not for professionals at all. Now they will contact me offering something new so I change my review. Sorry. I cannot be bought. I will work with any mfr. but I will not lie for them.

Update 03/05/2020
So, new keyboard (same one, but only supports one device and has usb bt) is 90% better so far. only complaint is it turned off the function keys, while using them. stepping through a program using f10, and then it threw everything into its own desktop. outside of that, its pretty good

Update 03/04/2020
Call me crazy. But I let them send me another keyboard. Well a code for one. I didn’t get this keyboard. I got the one for one device. With a USB adapter. Welp. Mind you it’s been a day but. IT WORKS. I will give it a couple days and update this again. The only thing I don’t like is I cannot pair it by itself. You must use the adapter.

Update 02/21/2020
Seller contacts me again. Says keyboard defective again. Says will send another keyboard to review. Code does not work. Asks for my address claims amazon blocks it. I tell them send me a code and I will create a new account under a different email. And no response. Just stay away. Poor quality. Crappy keyboards. They just don’t work. If I get a working one I’ll be more than happy to update my review. Might I add. I cannot be bought. I’m honest. I do not lie

Update 02/02/2020
Went into work today and keyboard was dead. Second one to die. Go figure. Gonna guess that they discontinue this one and replace it with something similar. Trust me. They should not be making keyboards. They just don’t work. Stay away from the company

Update 1/26/20
Wow. Absolutely hate it. Keeps turning off function keys. They seem to think changing f3 to whatever function they want is better. Num lock keeps turning off too. What a waste of a keyboard. Gonna look for a real keyboard as a replacement. Stay away from this company for your sanity

Update 1/15/20
Vendor contacts me. Offers any keyboard to make me happy. Apologies for asking me to raise my review. Bottom line is their keyboards are sub standard. I had issues pairing. First one stopped charging after weeks. I would look elsewhere. Their keyboards just don’t seem to cut it

Update 1/11/20
Vendor keeps asking me to change my review. Not gonna happen. I am honest and will not be bought.

Update 1/10/20
so far so good, had an issue pairing to pc, had to try 3 times but now its paired, paired to phone without issue, paired to tablet after 6 tries

Update 1/9/20
Company claims I received a defective keyboard. Although I returned it not as I claimed I would get a replacement. They offered me a new keyboard for my troubles. For their customer service I will update the review to a 3. Should it work out. I will update it accordingly. Check back soon

Update 12/24/19
Well it was good. So much for 6 mo battery. Charging for the third time. This time it’s dead and not coming back. Going to try a replacement. If that doesn’t work will return it

Original Review
Good keyboard. Works. Linked to my pc phone n tablet. Awkward typing cause it’s so flat. But otherwise works well

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard but...
Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2020
Verified Purchase
Towards the end of last year I was looking to improve my home setup. Less wires equals less clutter around my home desk. With the pandemic hitting in March, I was able to replicate my work setup, so I was good to go. This keyboard is solid. Has exactly what I needed. The size is pretty much similar to a regular keyboard, and is great to type on. Setup was very straight forward, so I was good to go in less than 10 minutes. I was looking for a full size wireless Bluetooth keyboard that had everything a wired keyboard had. Backspace and delete where I have come to expect it. Separate arrow keys and a number pad. The only issue, and this just started happening within the past 3 days. It started having issues with keystroke entry and recognition. As another reviewer stated, "started out as quirky and slightly irritating to a major problem" The function key in essence doubles as the key to make the board active. By default the Bluetooth keys above the number pad illustrate its activity. This will just deactivate. At that point the keyboard is unusable. If you're unaware, it just appears that it stopped working. There are instances that it goes in and out, as I type. On the screen nothing appears and then the last letter it recognised, it repeats upto 10 of them. It then doesn't properly respond. You hit backspace, and it will delete all that was typed. To illustrate the issue, if I was type, "this is a test". I might get "this issssssssssssssssss". Not sure why this has started to happen. This is solely used for work purposes, and I am not heavy handed with it. Nothing has dropped on it, be it liquid or a heavy object. Likely the Bluetooth adapter on the board has become damaged, or it is having issues after an OS update. Who knows? At this point it is nothing but a guess.

If anyone can explain why connectivity issues have started to happen, and has a solution. I would be greatly appreciative. I would prefer not to have to buy another. However saying that, I don't see this improving, just worsening.

**UPDATE**
I reached out via the email on the back of the keyboard [support@arteck.com]. Got a response within a day. Offered to send me a replacement keyboard right away. Solid response from their custom service, and what you want to see. Upped my 3 stars to 4 stars because of this. Can't give it 5, as the device did fail me. Would like to know what the cause of the issue is though. My fear is that this will reoccur again after a few month. Hopefully not, so fingers cross. Bravo on the response. Always nice to see a company stand behind their product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Second unit offered improvements on key responsivenes
Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2020
Verified Purchase
I am updating my review to give this keyboard 4 stars after the company reached out to me and provided a free replacement after I returned the first one for a full refund. The customer service reps were very responsive, almost to the point of being aggressive, but since they shipped me a free unit and since this one is working very well, I thought it merited revising my review up to 4 stars. I am still deducting a star because the first unit worked so poorly, and because the keyboard is just a little too flat to be ergonomic, but overall I am pretty pleased with it.

Although the slim profile is a bit less ergonomic than other chunkier keyboards, it also makes it a easier to store and stow away, in case you want to travel with it. The keyboard is not as tactile as some others, but it takes less effort to press the keys than on some other keyboards, and I like that sometimes when I have to do a lot of typing and my hands start to get tired. One thing to note is that this keyboard is pretty wide, since the keys are full width and it includes a number pad. This means my mouse has to sit a bit further off the the side than it does for other keyboards, but that's the trade-off for a less cramped typing experience. I have not yet exhausted the battery from it's initial charge, so I am not yet sure about battery life. The bluetooth pairing was simple and quick, and I have yet to experience any issues with missed or doubled key strokes.

All told, I will probably switch back and forth between this and another keyboard so that I am forced to change my hand positions and thereby avoid stain. I would recommend this keyboard for folks who either don't type all do, or who routinely switch their set up and position. If you are someone who types all day every day, you might want to invest in a larger, more ergonomic, and more tactile keyboard. But for the price, this seems to be a solid bluetooth, rechargeable batter-powered keyboard.

Original review: After seeing so many positive reviews and liking the sleek look of the keyboard, I was surprised to discover that the keys have very poor responsiveness. My feeling is that if you feel the key depress, the keystroke should register no matter where you hit on the key. I was thus disappointed to discover that keystrokes toward the edges and especially the corners of the keys did not reliably register--this was even true of the space bar, which is especially problematic. And I'm not talking about the very very edge of the keys, even keystrokes a couple of millimeters inward were often not producing an onscreen response.

Comparing this to another wireless keyboard I have and the keyboard for my laptop itself, I was able to confirm that keystrokes which reliably register on these keyboards do not work on this product. To me this is the single most important thing a keyboard should do—reliably record your keystrokes. That it doesn't do so is a total deal-breaker, and I think merits the one-star review I am giving this.

4.0 out of 5 stars ISSUE RESOLVED It was good for a week, then customer service came to the rescue
Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2022

UPDATE- June 2022 - So after issue kept happening I discovered it was an issue in Windows 11. In device manager under "Human Interface Devices" - "Bluetooth HID Device" and "Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID Device" - Open properties go to the "Power Management Tab" - unselect the "Allow the computer to turn off the device.." Now it works as intended. It was turned off so much I thought it was the keyboard turns out it was Windows. Figures right. Likely from a recent update.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: So the Bluetooth was great for a week, but it kept dropping the connection. I removed and reconnected several times. It also goes to sleep so much that it aggravates unless you're typing all the time. Also, sometimes you type one of the letters and would start repeaaaaating. I wish it just worked, but maybe I got a bad keyboard. The week it did work was great, but I need this for work and can not afford to keep trying keyboards.

UPDATE: After seeing this review, the vendor contacted me and sent a replacement. Maybe I just got a bad keyboard. I giving this a 5-star review due to the customer service.

UPDATE: After another week, I wanted to love this keyboard, but the Bluetooth connection turns off too frequently and randomly. It is not a Bluetooth issue as my mouse has no issue or my headphones. If not for this issue, I would be happy with this keyboard if there was a way to adjust it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Customer service from seller is better than expected! (I had a defective unit initially)
Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2020

UPDATE: The seller contacted me quickly after my first review. They emailed a code to purchase a new keyboard. They don’t need the defective one sent back. I’m not sure why. I’m happy they are trying to correct the issue quickly and with very little to do on my part. I’ll update this review after I work with the new unit for a couple weeks. There’s a good chance I just got one with a bad Bluetooth radio or something. I’m pretty excited about it. The layout and the scissor switch keys feel pretty good.

INITIAL REVIEW:
Running a 2016 Dell all in one PC. After using this keyboard for a few weeks, I noticed a very problematic issue. The keys have started to repeat, sometimes for 50-100 characters before stopping. It's fairly frustrating as I work partly in data entry. I look at the source material more than I look at my screen. I've been forced to completely re-enter work due to this problem.
None of the keys seem to be stuck. My previous bluetooth keyboard never had an issue like this (it works fine, I just wanted a layout that more closely resembles the wired keyboard that came with the computer)

Outside of the keyboard's inability to maintain consistent reliability and accuracy It feels pretty good. The keyboard layout is very similar to a common USB keyboard you'd get with a Dell or other desktop PC manufacturer. It's relatively quiet. It connects without too much delay. It switches between devices reasonably fast.

All that said. I can't recommend this keyboard due to the key repeat problem. I'll keep trying to understand the problem. But, if I can't correct it before the end of the week, I'm going to need to return the keyboard.
I need to be able to trust my keyboard.

4.0 out of 5 stars works with mac, function lock not stable
Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2020
Verified Purchase
pros:
the numpad seems to work with my macbook just fine
there is a physical on/off switch so it won't turn itself on in your backpack
feels sturdy

cons:
1. when the keyboard falls asleep or you switch bluetooth devices there is a 2-3 second delay before the keyboard connects. this is annoying because i like to switch devices rapidly (e.g. when gaming on my phone and chatting on my pc or vice-versa).
2. this still uses the old micro-usb connector to charge. it would have been nice if it used usb-c.

other thoughts:
1. the key travel is very shallow, like a laptop. maybe you like that, but i find it mildly unsatisfying.
2. the device is surprisingly thin, which i suppose is a good thing.
3. at first my function lock would turn off every time i switched to my macbook, which i find annoying since i use f3 a lot, but then i discovered i can put the keyboard in "win" mode for that device and it will default to function lock "on" instead of "off". setting it to "win" mode doesn't seem to cause any problems on my mac, even with the number pad.
4. it would be nice if this were solar powered. i've got a logitech k750 at work and it's nice that i never have to even think about charging it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A LOW COST Bluetooth Keyboard that won't last 24 months.
Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2022
Verified Purchase
So, you want to buy a Bluetooth keyboard and you're considering one that costs less than $30 in 2022? You must only intend to use it for light work, right? If you use it lightly, it might last you the reported 24 months. I used the keyboard lightly for the first 3-4 months (starting at 05/2020), but it THEN became my primary keyboard for my home office, and it lasted in that role until today (1/10/2022).

I ONLY TOOK A STAR AWAY BECAUSE THERE IS NO WARRANTY SUPPORT.

The product page asks you to contact an anonymous email address printed under the keyboard. Please don't send your customer info to a random email address. You're paying $30. There is no warranty. It's a throw away product. However, it lasted over a year, before the charging port stopped working. As of now, it's running on it's last charge, and I will have replaced the keyboard before it runs out of battery power. With hat said, IT PERFORMED pretty well while it lasted, with dropping the occasional keystroke (at least once an hour). Remember, this low budget accessory is meant for LIGHT use, not regular or heavy production use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't always switch devices
Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2021

*** Update #2 - Replacement keyboard is working better than the first one. Again, good customer service. I did read some other reviews. I have not had any issues with battery life. The first one I got lasted a couple months on a charge. I have had issues with duplicate or missed letters. I think that has more to do with the style of the keyboard. It is thin with short, slippery buttons. That could lead to these issues.

*** Update - Arteck has issued me a replacement keyboard. Very good customer service. I will update again after I receive the replacement.

Overall, it works OK. Two issues. First, when switching devices, it doesn't always make the switch and doesn't connect to the selected device. I can go back to the first device and try again, but once it doesn't make the switch, I usually have to remove it and then re-add it again. Sometimes turning it off and on again works to connect.
Second, it isn't ergonomic at all. It is very flat and doesn't have those little lifter "legs" that most keyboards have. I am using the part of the box that the charge cord came in to prop it up. And the keys are pretty close together.
Overall it works, but it could be better.

Update. After using it a couple of weeks I am still really enjoying it and highly recommend to those hating clicky keyboards.

• when I am typing fast it does make noise. Perhaps as I get used to it I will type more lightly but really not complaining. It is so, so much quieter than my last one!

• shallow stroke depth. I am enjoying this change, my last kbd had a deeper stroke, the shorter stroke has increased my typing speed.

• still missing the feet on the back to angle it a little more. I have slipped a coaster under the back edge for now and that helps but is occasionally wobbly if I am using only the keys on the edges, like the number pad. Considering taping a pencil on the back to see if that works better. This is the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars. If it had feet I would happily give it 5.

BONUS - seller is extremely responsive. There was a relatively minor issue with the printed keys (two EEs, see pic). I type by touch and since the key when pressed produced the expected W it was more of an inconvenience to anyone else who needed to use it and did not touch type. The seller responded very quickly and offered a replacement keyboard. I appreciated the attention to the issue and will not hesitate to order from this seller in the future.
————
Enjoying it so far. I hate clicky keyboards and this one all but silent. The pads of my fingers make more noise than the actual key press (when I am typing slowly). I really would prefer the pop out legs that many keyboards have in order to change the angle. This one has a slightly thicker edge on the back where the battery is but it is still almost flat on the desk. Right now I have it propped on a coaster to get that extra height in back. I gave it 4 stars because of that limitation. With the feet I would give it 5.

It took a little bit to get used to because it is half the height of my old one but within an hour I was typing faster than ever.

Two things to note:
1. It will require a charge before you can use it.
2. Be sure you get the QWERTY version. I accidentally got the QEERTY one. ROFL! (I had used it half the day before I noticed, too. You get a W when pressing the mislabeled key so it worked as expected and did not create a typo. Touch typing rocks.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for multiple computer setups, until...

This keyboard is quiet, works well, comfortable. I previously had an Arteck keyboard that had a wireless USB dongle, and when it broke I decided to try this multiple bluetooth keyboard. The idea is you have three bluetooth signals and you choose which is active. I have a Mac and PC, usually use the Mac, but sometimes need the PC for certain tasks. With my old keyboard I'd move the USB dongle from one computer to the other. This one I can just press a button.

HOWEVER.... I found a major problem.

My PC will not start if a keyboard is not connected. And if when starting, the Bluetooth connection is not established, you can't start the computer to get Bluetooth going. This caused my PC to be inoperable until I borrowed a regular USB keyboard from someone just to get my computer back up and running. The next time it reboots, the same thing will probably happen, so that is a problem I don't know how to solve.

4.0 out of 5 stars The quiet and multidevice connectivity I need!
Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2022

Previously, I purchased a keyboard with great ergonomics!! But, I needed something quiet for work conference calls, multidevice and bluetooth. That's when I ordered this Arteck HB192. It arrived June 2nd and has performed well. It's the quietness I need for when I'm on calls while unmuted. It's very seamless to switch between 3 devices too (laptop, windows tablet, android pixel 3xl)!

I miss the ergonomics of the other keyboard (Logitech K350), but it's worth it for what I need.

Oh, one note. I started using it on June 2nd. I use it everyday. I leave it on all the time. Today is June 11th and its the first time I had to charge it. With that benchmark of 9 days, I'm going to see how much longer the battery lasts if I turn it off when not in use.
