Confused But Intriguing

So here's the thing. These are a great buy. And I have to say that actual airpods are inferior to these in many ways. Over airpods, they are noise canceling, water proof and still retain the same features as airpods on top of that. The charging case is a bit bulky compared to the airpods but that is probably the only thing I miss. I like these much better but there is one weird thing and maybe it's just my pair. The earbuds have a double tap feature that skips and goes to previous tracks. But the thing is, my right earbud when double-tapped goes back a song while my left earbud double-tapped goes forward a song. and I'm absolutely sure that I'm wearing them correct way, so it must be an error. That wasn't a turn down for me but maybe they some it is. They are amazing quality and are very nice. I give them a 9/10

Such a shame

I have been on the search for a good set of true wireless headphones that have good sound, good call quality and good battery life. These sound good, are comfortable and looks cool, but that's about it! First, the information on the product page is totally wrong, or I got a defective set, but others have reported the same issues.

I really wanted to like these so I gave them a couple charges to be sure. The actual playtime was 3 to 3.5 hours, not even close to the 6-7 hours they say. Even worse, the "3500mha" battery with up to 100 charges is total BS. The first time I recharged the ear buds there was 19% battery left in the case! 19 freaking percent! A second charge killed the case battery. So 1.3 charges from the case? Really?

Call quality was also pretty bad. Callers consistently said the sound was very muffled and they could not hear what I was saying. I tried re-positioning the earbuds several times but it didn't help.

The sad part is, once I found the right size ear tips, the sound quality from these was pretty good with just enough bass, mids and highs.

Maybe I got a defective pair, but I am not the only one to experience the poor battery.

Works well, stays in my ears

I like to run and usually headphones fall out, but these stick. Great noose cancellation, fine audio quality, and the Bluetooth and charging work well. My complaints: 1) makes a loud sound sometimes when connecting. 2) rarely will not take a charge in one ear piece and will loudly tell me it's shutting down. It's annoying to have the device fully charged and then have it shut down a minute later, probably wasn't plugged in correctly. 3) no option to turn off tap controls, can accidently pause or skip music etc. Pros: It's magnetic and super easy to plug in, charges via USB which is nice, good audio quality and noise cancelation, battery generally lasts long enough (maybe an hour or hour and a half), easy tap controls to play and pause. Overall great quality and works well. I'm not audiophile so I cannot speak to the audio quality being perfect or not.

UPDATE: Going down to 3 stars because these things are annoying as all hell. They randomly disconnect, the battery dies, they refuse to charge, they hang up phone calls, etc. The right earphone only connects about 5% of the time and I've spent about 20min every other day for one month before getting it to work for the first time after powering off and on both headphones six times. The next day, they're disconnected again, and after trying everything, turning them off and on, disconnecting, forgetting and reconnecting, connecting inside the charger, after half an hour I got the right to connect but the left one died. For this reason I cannot possibly recommend these. Audio quality and price are 5 stars, but the experience is 0 stars. They need to fix their horrible software and connectivity problems. They also need an option to disable the stupid button functionality; I'll often pause a song or hang up accidently, or even power off the entire device thanks to this stupid "feature" that has no off switch.

Great earphones. Not for swimming.

I bought wireless waterproof bluetooth earbuds to wear when I swim. I'm pretty sure that the product testing consisted of dropping them in a cup of water to see if they still lit up when immersed.
Issue 1. The resistance created by moving through the water pulls them out of my ears. Think of them as musical diving sticks. I tried securing them beneath my swim cap, but it was pretty uncomfortable, and didn't resolve issue 2.
Issue 2. They are touch sensitive, so putting them back in causes them to be turned off or on or for the volume to be adjusted.
Issue 3. Due to the properties of water vs. air (or so it would seem to me) the sensors adjust any time they pass from water to air again turning them on/off, advancing the playlist, and adjusting the volume. They are fine if I'm kicking with a kickboard so my head isn't in the water or if I could swim beneath the water without ever needing to draw a breath. I would imagine they could be good for scuba diving if not for issue 4.
Issue 4. The range is less than 16 yards. I had my phone in my bag at one end of the pool. By the time I reached the other end, the sound cut out. Fortunately, I had learned from issue 3 and by dipping either my left or right ear in the water I was able to reconnect once I was back in range and adjust the sound levels. Eventually, an outer lane opened and I moved my bag to the adjacent wall near the center so I I could remain in range while swimming the full length of the pool.
All in all, they seem to be waterproof and the sound quality isn't bad, but for the forseeable future I will continue to swim with the sound of silence.

Right ear bud doesn’t work.

I always struggle with earbuds. They never stay fully in my ears and I always end up irritating my ears because I force the buds in too hard. These are no exception. I haven’t tried them in water yet, which is the main reason I bought them, but they do the trick. The touch features (to play/pause or skip tracks), seem to be a little off. Sometimes they work sometimes they don’t, but they do the main function which is okay sound. I really like the docking/storage container.

UPDATE: the right ear bud shuts off every few minutes. I initially thought it was a user error on my part, but it isn’t. I don’t know if it’s because it doesn’t charge fully or there’s a glitch, but it is super obnoxious. I basically can’t use the right bud or I have to replug it in every few minutes.

Stopped working after 5 months

PROS: lightweight, cheap, sounds decent, holds charge for long time.
CONS: hard to keep in ear, hard to use buttons, left ear bud completely stopped working after about 5 months.

These were a 3 star before it stopped working. At that time the main issue was that they won't stay very securely in my ears. I end up needing to wear a beanie to keep them in. The other problem is the "button", which is actually the whole ear bud. So if it IS slipping out of your ear, you can't really push it back in without messing with the audio (pausing it for example).
The charge used to hold forever, but nowadays it seems to drain quickly, and more upsetting is the fact that the left ear bud will no longer turn on. Overall these were/are ok, I would not buy them again though. Just not too upset because they were cheap.

Very poor product

They look nice, feel nice, even sound really nice...if the ear buds are within direct line of site of the device it is connected to. I use my phone for music and if I put my phone in my pocket, it cuts in and out continuously until I take my phone out and hold it. While holding my phone in 1 hand, I placed my other hand over my ear and the headphones cut out. Again, Direct line of site and I can get 20 feet away, put my hand over my ear with the phone in front of me and its pointless. This doesn't help while jogging or working out at all. Extremely disappointed in the connectivity of these ear buds. I gave 2 stars because the case is really nice, without case I would give it 0 stars.

Phone calls are horrible sounding for the other person

I bought these for my best friend that live out of town as we talk on the phone daily and he says they sound is fine for listing to music, podcast etc. but the background noise is terrible on my end when I talk to him on the phone. I don't know if these are defective or what but I just got off of the phone with him and I could hardly hear him over the background noise, the call was horrible. I have purchased every pair of earbuds for him over the last 10-12 years and these sound the worst of any he has had on a phone call on my end when we talk. These have to be defective based on other ratings I saw and the seller description but either way the sound quality for the person he is talking to while wearing these earbuds is not useable really. At this point I CANNOT recommend these earbuds, I will update my review if anything changes,

Charging case is suspect.

These sounded great, and the controls worked well. Pairing was pretty flawless.

But the charging case wasn't remotely as advertised. I charged it fully, used the earpieces for three hours or so, and then put them in the case to charge. Next time I looked, a few hours later, the case was down to 19%.

Needless to say, I am returning these. While it's possible that I got a lemon, I'm not going to trust this brand again.

These ear phones work great, but they are SO SENSITIVE. If you try adjusting them, it will skip whatever your listening to to the next song/story/chapter. Sometimes if you're wearing a hood you will trigger they're powering off sensor. Long hair? Pull it back with these, otherwise they will continually change/pause whatever it is you're listening to. Very frustrating.

I had higher expectations for these being as the ones I was replacing I only paid $16.99 for but I am disappointed in these
1. There is no bass so music has no depth
2. While I didn't buy them for phone conversations it was a bonus but the person on the other end has a really difficult time hearing and understanding what I an says they described it as muffled or under water
3. The right earbud disconnects constantly I had my phone on the top of a treadmill and if I put it in the left cup holder the right ear bud lost connection I had to keep the phone in the right cup holder if I had the phone in my pants pocket the buds would loose signal

I am soooo disappointed. With so many great reviews, I decided to give these a try. Great price, just the right features but I could not get them to work properly. The sound bounced back and forth between the two buds and frequently cut out altogether. In other words, everything that Bluetooth 5 was supposed to cure. I tried rebooting my phone, rebooting the buds, disconnecting/reconnecting, pairing/unpairing, connecting to my PC instead of mobile (Moto G6). I thought maybe it was a Youtube problem so switched to IHeartRadio. Nope, same thing. Amazon offered to connect me to a tech ISO a return but I just have don't the time for this frustration. COVID is enough.

Having said all that, I found the buds a bit heavy and also the sound was really no better than my $15 wired ear buds. In fact, my old factory included iPhone earphones give far superior bass and dynamic range. #Fail
