Good wireless mouse. I recommend it!

This TrackNet wireless mouse has a very comfortable share that does not cause my right hand to cramp after I spend many consecutive hours in front of my computer.
The design is sleek and the color black very elegant.
It came without a battery (it takes one AA battery) but adding it was very easy by removing the back panel which has a grove to insert your fingernail in.
Putting it back was also immediate.
There are 2 side buttons on the left side to go back and forward. It takes a little getting used to but after you get the hang of it it is very functional. The scroll wheel has a rubber cover that improves the grip but it does not roll smoothly, which I guess it is not a big deal. Both sides also have rubber holds which makes it very comfortable for a claw grip.
It track well on any surface I tried. I prefer not to use a mouse pad. It works really well directly on my desk surface.
So, the things I like the most about this mouse:
1) Connects easily via Bluetooth (and re-connects as easily after turning it back on)
2) Comfortable grip
3) Tracks very well

Stupid pairing issues / No instructions

I like it....but... The price is great and it's a simple Bluetooth mouse, when I finally got it to work. However, pairing was just plain stupid, and the manual does not provide ANY instructions whatsoever. First, my laptop would not see the mouse as a Bluetooth device at all. So I tried the USB adapter 2.4G "nano receiver". My laptop did not even recognize that adapter at all. So, back to the Bluetooth. Pressing the "pairing" button makes the light on top blink blue, so I assumed it was trying to pair. But nothing happens and my laptop does not see it. Apparently you have to press the pairing buton until the blue light blinks faster. (eye rolling here) Then my laptop detected the mouse as a "BM20X-5.0" which is not labeled anywhere at all as the device model, and is not the model number of this mouse anyway.
Anyway, I finally got it to work, and it seems fine... so far.

Loved the mouse

Light weight and easy to use. did have a few problems connecting via bluetooth but works great.
My problem is the battery compartment door keeps falling off. the door is finally missing and i can't use the mouse anymore :(

This is not a full sized mouse, but still manages to fit my large hands quite well. Nice movement and scrolling. Works well for left-handed people.

Unfortunately, the Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I tested this with two different computers and two operating systems, with the same results. In the end, I had to return it, as it was not practical to live with this problem.

Bluetooth constantly drops out

I bought this mouse because there aren't very many ergonomically shaped mice for sale at the moment with bluetooth. I'm very disappointed. The connectivity is incredibly poor. I have replaced the batteries multiple times, but it just continuously drops out and loses connection with my laptop, often at awkward times (I have to do a lot of photoshopping for work). Additionally, it fell off of my desk and the battery cover broke off, and now the battery cover is constantly popping off. I think I've had it like, two whole weeks? Not worth it.

Battery powered? This must be a joke. Every electronic gizmo on the face of the Earth can be charged. Not trying to buy batteries for a mouse. Also, the click sound of this thing is pretty loud. Most mouses are silent these days. Not this bugger. "CLICK-CLICK CLICK-CLICK CLICK-CLICK." Returned this stinker before I even connected it to my computer.

Not an easy Bluetooth switch as stated

Nice mouse, but it doesn't easily switch from one laptop to another on Bluetooth as described. In order to switch I had to use the USB 2.4 connection on one laptop and use Bluetooth on the other. Then I could 'easily' switch by sliding the switch on the bottom of the mouse.

Overall a good product but the bluetooth connection stopped working after 3 months of usage. The mouse should be under warranty. Sent a message to Smartek. Waiting to see if they will replace it.

Not exactly advertised very well, but the two “front and back” buttons on the side do not function properly with the Mac OS. They only work as simple click function.

So the mouse connects and works, but we have 4 buttons and 2 functions.
