5.0 out of 5 starsGood wireless mouse. I recommend it!
Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2020
This TrackNet wireless mouse has a very comfortable share that does not cause my right hand to cramp after I spend many consecutive hours in front of my computer.
The design is sleek and the color black very elegant.
It came without a battery (it takes one AA battery) but adding it was very easy by removing the back panel which has a grove to insert your fingernail in.
Putting it back was also immediate.
There are 2 side buttons on the left side to go back and forward. It takes a little getting used to but after you get the hang of it it is very functional. The scroll wheel has a rubber cover that improves the grip but it does not roll smoothly, which I guess it is not a big deal. Both sides also have rubber holds which makes it very comfortable for a claw grip.
It track well on any surface I tried. I prefer not to use a mouse pad. It works really well directly on my desk surface.
So, the things I like the most about this mouse:
1) Connects easily via Bluetooth (and re-connects as easily after turning it back on)
2) Comfortable grip
3) Tracks very well

3.0 out of 5 starsStupid pairing issues / No instructions
Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2021
I like it....but... The price is great and it's a simple Bluetooth mouse, when I finally got it to work. However, pairing was just plain stupid, and the manual does not provide ANY instructions whatsoever. First, my laptop would not see the mouse as a Bluetooth device at all. So I tried the USB adapter 2.4G "nano receiver". My laptop did not even recognize that adapter at all. So, back to the Bluetooth. Pressing the "pairing" button makes the light on top blink blue, so I assumed it was trying to pair. But nothing happens and my laptop does not see it. Apparently you have to press the pairing buton until the blue light blinks faster. (eye rolling here) Then my laptop detected the mouse as a "BM20X-5.0" which is not labeled anywhere at all as the device model, and is not the model number of this mouse anyway.
Anyway, I finally got it to work, and it seems fine... so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Should hav bought sooner..its Great!!!

I had a standard "small mouse" for the past 5 from a well known company and it was okay. I lost the 2.4 Ghz usb adapter so mouse it worthless now because its locked to that adapter. I thought time for a Bluetooth mouse cause thats happened so many times, I have so many unusable "mice" around my house, why do I keep doing that. This mouse is so smooth. I wasnt sure about the sweeping curves on sides towards the front but it fits my hand perfect and feels great, far better than the uniform shaped mouse I had before. The best feature are the fwd/back buttons on the side, didnt think it was a big deal till I used them, no more having to constantly go up to the corner to go back/fwd. The other great features is of course the Bluetooth which works from a great distance and flawlessly but also the 2.4Ghz interface. I have one computer with the 2.4Ghz usb adapter in and another computer I keep it in Bluetooth mode on so I dont have to play move and lose the usb adapter anymore. The variable dpi is really neat to. IT actually make syou mouse move faster or slower across the screen. The clicks feel good, it works great in 2 different modes, if feels great , it was very inexpensive, whats not to love. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paired instantly with my 10” iPad, doesn’t interfere with BT keyboard
Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2021
Color: BlueVerified Purchase
Update: 10/22: The adhesive they used to glue down the dimpled rubber side panels has liquified, it is oozing out from under the pads and allows the pads to slide around. This happens a lot with these rubber treatments on devices that get handled a lot. I don’t know what this adhesive is but alcohol doesn’t cut it and acetone attacks the plastic shell faster than it does the adhesive - it has to be mechanically wiped off with paper towel after paper towel. I’m now using it without those panels. That said, this is the only complaint I have about this mouse. It still works perfectly, batteries last forever and it’s sleep/wake up mode is predictable.

Update: I’ve had it a while now and it’s been without fault. What a joy to not have to struggle to wake it up constantly. It does go to sleep but one click and it’s instantly back, it doesn’t interfere with other BT devices or with wifi which some others do. Very pleased.

Original:
The newer version of this mouse interferes with any bluetooth keyboard I try and also goes to sleep in the middle of being used. So I’m trying this one out because none of the reviews have mentioned those bad behaviors.

It paired instantly with my iPad and while the default pointer is too fast the iPad mouse control panel lets you slow it down. For the last hour it’s worked perfectly. I don’t know if it’ll go to sleep at all and I don’t care if it doesn’t - I would rather replace rechargeable batteries weekly than deal with a comatose mouse every 15 minutes.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK, but it could be better.
Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2021

As laptops move away from USB to USB-C/Thunderbolt, you have two options: Find a device that uses Bluetooth or use a dongle that converts to another dongle.

This mouse can do both USB and it's own wireless dongle which is good...but if you are looking for a cheap alternative to a mouse by Logitech or Microsoft, be prepared to be a little disappointed.

The two side buttons feel cheap. Sure they are clicky, but it still feels soft and cheap. There's no way to reassign the two side buttons unless you use a third party software like X-Mouse.
There's also no left or right functionality with the mouse wheel, which is useful if you are trying to move to the left or right in a window.
Despite this, there is middle button click support in the wheel.
Of course this mouse is slightly smaller that the Logitech 510 that I had. I have small hands, but my fingers still overshadow the left and right mouse buttons.

Efficiently, the device only needs one AA button.

Overall, if you are looking for something cheaper than the leading brand, save your money for something better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent comfortable bluetooth and 2.4 ghz wireless mouse for a reasonable price
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2021

I like the contours of this mouse (shaped like older-style travel MS Mouse) but wish it were a bit heavier. The addition of some small weights inside that could be removed would be the perfect low cost addition. I really like the bluetooth connectivity and 2.4 ghz function that's switchable with an actual switch on the bottom. It's not the most solid mouse I've ever used, but better than some cheaper flimsy mice I've used. That way either I can use it on two computers simultaneously by flipping the switch OR have one mouse for two BT enabled computers that are on at alternate times. There's also a DPI change button on top that's hard wired. Drivers are plug and play in Windows 10 as well as Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

1.0 out of 5 stars Package didn't have Bluetooth dongle, never stays connected, waste of money
Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2021

What a mistake not buying a more expensive but bomb proof mouse from Logitech or Microsoft. The package arrived I opened it and there was no dongle in the package. That sucked, I didn't get what I paid for but the mouse was a nice fit in my hand so I thought that I would just use the onboard Bluetooth. I won't be able to use my BT headset with the laptop at the same time, but fine, I'm in desperate need of a secondary mouse.

Then I discover that the mouse will disconnect from the PC between about a minute and two minutes. Always... seems to be their design.....their awful design. To turn it back on I have to turn it over, turn it off, then turn it back on ago. At which time it works unless I let it sit for over a minute... then turn it off, then back on... It is maddening

So I didn't get what I paid for and it only stays on for around a minute or two. I can't ever go grab a coffee or soda without it turning off. I can't read a technical article without it shutting down. I've had Microsoft mice that have performed flawlessly for 10 years or until I left them in a hotel room on a business trip.

Don't waste your money. Spend a little more on a known brand. They will send you what you purchased, connect without flaw and last forever.

3.0 out of 5 stars "switches between 3 devices" not
Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2021

There are mice out there that can be used with multiple devices - a couple (or a few) over Bluetooth, and one using the dongle.
This is not one of those, at least regarding the Bluetooth. It can only be paired with one device over Bluetooth, and using it with another device means losing the previous pairing when pairing with the new one. I read the manual (no mention of that) and tried using the bottom button and pairing using BT 3 and BT 5, no luck.
So one could use this mouse with two devices, one using the dongle, and one using Bluetooth.
Not as advertised.
Otherwise, I like the size of the mouse - medium. Comfortable. The wheel blinks to indicate the DPI setting, nice.
The "back" button is quite soft and mushy, it has to be pressed well into the case to activate. This feels weird and cheap. The "forward" button, the top buttons and wheel are okay.
An extra note: the pairing button on the bottom is superfluous. A long press on the DPI settings button on top does the same.

Tiy can spend all sorts of money on fancy mice, but this is a basic mouse that has 2.40 (dongle) and Blue Tooth (BT) connectivity (that is built into my computers so I do not have to occupy a USB port (as the old mouse USP dongle broke) so this is a MUCH better way to go, but also includes the 2.40 USB if you wish.
I really like the quick selectable resolution, the FWD/BKWD thumb buttons, and of course, the scroll wheel (that lights up to tell you what resolution(speed) your mouse is working in. The batter should last many months (single AA) so I will be taking this on the field (Disaster work) so it needs to work, but it breaks, I can easily replace it as it is cost-effective. I may buy another for my work shop (machine shop) so I can eliminate the USP occupied port. It also works with my other Blue Tooth devices (tablet, phone etc) so buy this, save money and enjoy.

I had a mouse at 2.4 Ghz that kept getting lost. Was too frustrating. Decided to try this and use Bluetooth. It is very quick and never seems to get lost very happy. The only downside is I have to grab another mouse (which I have if I need to work in the Bios. It's not the Mouse's fault, the Bluetooth just isn't activated on the computer until it boots up. I did try the other 2.4 GHz and it was very sluggish. But I think there might have been a conflict with my wireless keyboard. But no complaints in Bluetooth mode.
