Great Earbuds for the price!

I've tried a lot of earbuds and have, actually, reviewed a few as "great" because I know it's difficult to shop for earbuds online and rely on reviews. I'm considering changing the reviews I've done before because these are superior to the ones I've tried in the past. After using the ones before I realized that they weren't quite as they seemed at first so on the shopping hunt AGAIN for another pair of bluetooth earbuds. I like to sleep with them listening to music so wires done work for me. Anyways, I'd lose the ones I've tried before but these ones I do not. They hold a charge for over 8 hours of use and don't drain my phones battery either. Easy to pair - haha! Ones I've tried in the past only ONE side at a time would pair!! They easily pair with phone and car. Light weight and fit both me, a woman, and my husband, a man - two different sizes of course, nicely. I would recommend definitely

HUGE SKIPPING PROBLEM.

You get what you pay for. I would not recommend buying these headphones! The sound quality is alright, but just alright. That is as far as how loud they get.

HERE IS THE BIGGEST MOST INFURIATING PROBLEM. You get headphones to listen to music etc. Whatever you're into, right? Don't get these especially if music is your point of purchase. They SKIP so much it's very irritating. Every song. The whole song. Consistent. It makes them pretty much useless. I've done some research as to why they may be skipping and I'm fairly confident it is the bluetooth device. It happens everywhere. Whether my phone is close or far away. Whether it is high up or low to the ground. Whether it's in my pocket or put up. Even when I'm not moving. Waste of money.

They do fit comfortably in my ears though.

Useless.

They basically do what they want

This is the second wireless set I purchased from Amazon and it shall be my last. I am going to be sending these back. The problem with these is that they do what they want, the sound bounces around and sometimes one earbud is connected but not the other. The worst part is when I connect them to my laptop and it is not an old laptop. Every time I need to take them out to recharge them they will not disconnect from my computer and I have to "remove the device" and then add them back on.
The most disappointing part of these is the battery life and maybe it is me, but they don't last more than a couple of hours. I am a chef and I rely on my headphones to work throughout my shift as I listen to audiobooks. They are just not my vibe. They do fit nicely in the ear and the sound is good, so there is that.

Over-hyped: cons and pros below

I so wanted to like the ear buds. I would have returned them, but I dropped the empty case, from not a great height, onto a Pergo-ish floor, and it messed with the hinge a little. My bad. But...

Point #1: The case is flimsy. And...
Point #2: The sound quality is very sharp and tinny. I downloaded an equalizer and tweaked it where it wasn't painful, but not great either.
Point #3: While the buds do provide an impressive 6 hours or so of run time, the case definitely does not provide 6 charge cycles. After the initial charging of the case with the buds in, I could put the buds into the case two more times and get a full charge. Third time, only a partial charge. After then, nada.
Point #4: No external indication of charge level, and internal light is confusing. Seems to go from green to white after first recharge.
Point #5: When using them separately, often the bud not used last won't connect. I found I had to un-pair, put both buds in the case, take out the one I want, and re-pair. Just a little inconvenient.

There are a couple of redeeming aspects.
Point #1: They are very light and small. They fit in the ears nicely.
Point #2: 6 hr run time is impressive, especially for their size.
Point #3: The ability to use both of them separately is awesome when at work and you need to keep one ear available.
Point #4: I enjoyed the light touch controls. A little sensitive, but beats pressing hard on a physical button jamming the bud into your ear canal. Kudos on that.

All-in-all, despite the low price, can't recommend these.

Disappointing.

I bought this because I needed some new wireless earbuds. I was a bit skeptical seeing how much they cost, but after reading the positive reviews I decided to give them a shot. First off, they were packaged pretty nicely, I'll give them that. The charging case is compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's easy to carry in your pocket and seems to be pretty protective. The earbuds themselves are nicely designed and they come with different sizes to fit your ears. However, I only had them for a day before my troubles started. It seems to me that the earbuds don't seem to really charge when they're in the case unless the case is connected to a power source which defeats the purpose of it. The earbuds also did not seem to really fit to charging piece in the case and I felt like I constantly had to readjust them to make sure they were actually charging. Now, the first day I got the earbuds I used them to play music and they worked really nicely. They're actually really good at noise cancelling for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. However, these are not good for video. I've watched YouTube videos, a movie, and Tik Toks and it seems like the earbuds lag behind in all of them. They're a bit behind causing the audio and video to be out of sync which is something that drives me insane. Finally, today they stopped pairing together. I followed the instructions to put them back to factory settings which is supposed to put them back in pairing mode, however it did not work. I tried several times, each with no success. After every attempt when I went to reconnect them to my phone, only one earbud would actually connect and play the audio. Maybe I just received a faulty product but I have to say I'm disappointed. If they would actually pair successfully this would definitely be a four star product. For the price and quality you can't get much better. If only they lasted more than a day.

5 month review-not the best.

Battery life is really good, however if you want to purchase these please note:

-While they are waterproof, they will not stay in your ears if they get wet. Not to mention when water is on them it messes with the volume / pause / controls in general.
-don't get if you're planning on working out with them. They will not stay in your ears. They slip out constantly, especially when you're doing cardio.
-they do not stay in your ears. Tried different earbuds sizes and none worked, they constantly fall out.
-they are not noise canceling, they'll be loud but you can still hear EVERYTHING.
-the magnet holding the case together is not strong, the few times I've accidentally dropped the case the earbuds fell out, and at one point the top magnet stuck to the bottom, causing me to have to glue it back into place.
-generally not worth it. I recommend a different brand if these will be getting used regularly.

Fair for a few weeks

At first I was somewhat pleased with the sound, although they're not as good as a pair of sport headphones with the wire loop that connects them behind the neck. For the money I will get that kind again. The sound is better and they've lasted longer.

The Kurdene earbuds sound rather tinny, but I put up with that for a while since they seemed convenient, though when I bent over they tended to slip out of my ears. I tried all the ear adapters and nothing helped...except not bending over. I don't have this problem with other earbuds.

I hated the haptic controls. They are overly sensitive, and not intuitive. I would try to adjust the volume by tapping or holding the earbud and instead they would turn off. After a while both functions stopped working.

The worst thing was that after about 6 weeks they went haywire. When you set them in the charging cradle they are supposed to turn off. I noticed that they would still be connected to my phone or computer hours after I had set them in there. That also means they are draining the battery in the charging cradle and my phone or laptop. Not a big deal for my laptop, but draining the battery in the charging cradle defeats the purpose. Plus, since they stayed on, they stayed connected to Bluetooth, interfering with my connecting my phone or laptop to other devices.

I contacted them for help. Received a message to try three things:

1. Is there any problem with the charging needle: Press the charging needle to confirm that the needle can rebound normally;
2. Check if the earphones are put in the base charger or not;
3. Power problem: Fully charge the cradle, or put the headset into the cradle, adjust the position of the headset to make the headset in the charging state, and the white light is always on when the headset is charging.

Sorry, questions 2 and 3 were not helpful, as I explained the problem to them. Anyway, when I tried to write them back 2 weeks later (this was not a top priority), I could only contact Amazon chat, which was painfully slow. It took me more than a half hour to get a promise of a remedy, and another 15 minutes to complete the chat. (That's the only reason I'm writing this long review; I'm waiting for the rep to finish my case). They wanted me to mail back the earbuds. I asked if I would have to pay return postage. It took 10 minutes for her to say they would send me a return label and replace the item.

Not worth almost an hour of my time, but hopefully the replacement will last at least half a year.

I was pretty excited initially to find a well priced noise cancelling headset. I use my EarPods daily for work and exercise. Over the years I know they I’m prone to loosing one or two in my commute or just simple accidents so did not want to spend the big dollars on a set.

Well if you through the price was too good to be true, you’re 100% correct. This EarPods are not active noise cancelling. I sent a message to customer service and never got a response as there may be a hidden trick to unlocking the noise cancelling feature.

Absent that function the EarPods were 3 out of 5 in my book. The most frustrating part is the button control when you put them in your ear causes your device to begin music playback. There’s almost no way to get these in without activating the play feature or volume control.

Secondly I have a weird thing going on where one channel will drop momentarily go into mono then rejoin stereo. Not a big deal but not what I would expect.

For the price, I can’t complain too much, but if you’re looking for active noise cancelling, these are not.

Decent quality headphones marred by a major design flaw

If you’ve ever bought cheap Bluetooth earbuds on Amazon, you pretty much know what to expect - generic but good enough earbud caps (these use the same rubber caps with a hard piece of red plastic in the middle that every cheap headset has now), and that slightly muffled and overly bassy, but still pretty good for the price, sound quality. For cheap headphones that you don’t want to worry about dropping in the tub, they get the job done, just like the hundred other clones on the market that all have essentially the same guts. Thankfully, “generic” has gotten pretty darn good when it comes to audio.

The big, incredibly annoying issue with these is the decision to make the sides of each bud a giant capacitive button that’s ostensibly used to play, pause and skip tracks. You will accidentally hit this all the time - putting them in your ears, adjusting them, and sometimes it just activates for no apparent reason. It’s incredibly annoying enough to the point where after using them for a month I’m dropping them for something else. These would be easy enough to recommend without that pointless feature. Note to cheap headphone manufacturers: you’re not making AirPods Pros here. Stick to focusing on what matters - affordable, decent quality audio - and don’t ruin your stuff with annoying “features” that make your otherwise good product a pain to use.

There is decent depth to the sound (Bass/Treble) but dont go loud enough to cancelmout noise around me.

Always falling out of my ears, and having to push them back in. Right is is actually getting soar feom the earpiece.

Phone calls - This i give 1 Star. Every call has been the same, peoe telling me there is a ringing, if they an here me it's very low.

So i am going to look into sending these back.

2 Stars, predominantly beacuse when they are in my ears, i do like the overall depth of the sound.

I'm super bummed to be writing this review. When I first got them the sound quality was great, the Bluetooth range was meh at 8-10 feet. The noise canceling was more from the ear bud size going 1 up so they couldn't fall out & no other sound could get in. But the pressure in my ears hurt too much so I went a size down but have continued to struggle with them falling out. One time the ear pod almost landed in the toilet when I bent forward to flush. That was nerve wracking!
And I've ALWAYS had an issue with earbuds staying in my ears. That's why I have always used the over the ear style but I really wanted something small and Bluetooth. Oh well.
So it has been 3 months, almost 4 since I got them for my birthday. I've used them for virtual doctor appointments & in the car so I've used them probably about 20 times. They are already at the point of the Bluetooth range being a couple feet, the sound quality has gone way down I have to turn my volume up all the way and I have REALLY GOOD hearing & when I use them the person on the other side of the call says I sound really far away. And I've been really trying to make sure they are fully charged to make an accurate assessment.
So I'm sad to say these are going in the trash.

Earbuds do not work consistently

I've had these earbuds for four months now. They worked great the first month; both earbuds charged in their case, and they both worked once I got the hang of their operation.

After the first month, I started having issues. First, the right earbud wouldn't charge. At first, I assumed I'd put it in the charger incorrectly and it wasn't hitting the connectors; however, it became apparent that this was unlikely as the magnet "clicked" when I put the earbud in the case. I tried cleaning the contacts on both the case and earbuds with a little bit of alcohol, it still didn't help. I finally figured out that I had to wiggle the right earbud a little bit until the charging indicator on the earbud popped on. Maybe it's the magnet that was placed improperly so the earbud doesn't "click" into place in the charging case.

After I got things worked out with the right earbud, the left earbud's operation became a hit-or-miss affair. Sometimes it pairs with my Bluetooth device, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it works with the right earbud, sometimes it doesn't; even when it's fully charged.

When both earbuds are working properly, they hold a charge and the noise cancellation is pretty darn good. I love the turquoise color and the size of the silicone plugs. However, since they don't work properly most of the time, I can't recommend them.
