Great Earbuds for the price!

I've tried a lot of earbuds and have, actually, reviewed a few as "great" because I know it's difficult to shop for earbuds online and rely on reviews. I'm considering changing the reviews I've done before because these are superior to the ones I've tried in the past. After using the ones before I realized that they weren't quite as they seemed at first so on the shopping hunt AGAIN for another pair of bluetooth earbuds. I like to sleep with them listening to music so wires done work for me. Anyways, I'd lose the ones I've tried before but these ones I do not. They hold a charge for over 8 hours of use and don't drain my phones battery either. Easy to pair - haha! Ones I've tried in the past only ONE side at a time would pair!! They easily pair with phone and car. Light weight and fit both me, a woman, and my husband, a man - two different sizes of course, nicely. I would recommend definitely

HUGE SKIPPING PROBLEM.

You get what you pay for. I would not recommend buying these headphones! The sound quality is alright, but just alright. That is as far as how loud they get.

HERE IS THE BIGGEST MOST INFURIATING PROBLEM. You get headphones to listen to music etc. Whatever you're into, right? Don't get these especially if music is your point of purchase. They SKIP so much it's very irritating. Every song. The whole song. Consistent. It makes them pretty much useless. I've done some research as to why they may be skipping and I'm fairly confident it is the bluetooth device. It happens everywhere. Whether my phone is close or far away. Whether it is high up or low to the ground. Whether it's in my pocket or put up. Even when I'm not moving. Waste of money.

They do fit comfortably in my ears though.

Useless.

Design drives me crazy

Okay, let me break this down, because these are seriously driving me crazy:

Pro:
Sound quality is great. They don't do very well with noise cancellation, at least no better than others in this price range, but they work fine. The battery life is fabulous. The charging is easy and convenient.

Cons:
If you don't seat them JUST RIGHT in your ears when you start whatever activity you're about to do, they start to slip pretty quickly, especially if you're sweating. Here's where the frustration comes in, because when they start to slip, you automatically try to readjust them. Because of their design, unless you're super careful, you end up touching the parts of the earbuds that control your music. So, you end up pausing your music or skipping songs as you adjust them, which obviously can get super annoying. If you pause your music before adjusting, you can unpause it or skip stuff without meaning to. Speaking of the parts that control your music, I find that they sometimes don't do what they're supposed to do - tapping twice to skip a song or go back a song, for instance, doesn't always seem to register or work. I've also found that the device isn't always remembered by my phone, and that it's the only device my phone seems to forget on a regular basis.

"Waterproof" is a relative term?

Given the price, these earbuds have pretty decent sound, and the battery life was as promised, (generally six-plus hours, enough that using just earbud at a time I could easily go back and forth all day, using one and charging the other.)
My big issue is that I ordered these because the listing says "Waterproof," and the seller responded to a question saying that yes, they could be worn in the shower. In practice, the buttons are so sensitive, even a drop of water on them "pushes" the button, and until they are wiped off, I'd wind up with a repeat voice saying "max volume. Max volume. Max volume," (or turning volume down, or jumping ahead or back over and over...) I gave up trying to use them in the shower, but did still use them in the bath, (being very careful to keep them dry), until one slipped out of my ear and fell in the water. It took me a couple minutes to fish it out. After about two minutes submerged, that "waterproof" earbud no longer works at all.
TLDR: if you're looking for inexpensive wireless earbuds with decent sound and battery life, these are a fine choice. If you want actual waterproof earbuds, look elsewhere.

One Serious Design Flaw

These things sound great. Fit nicely. I hate the touch controls and would prefer manual buttons...but very few manufacturers seem to understand how badly touch controls work for the average user and how many times we have to screw up what's playing just because we want to secure the bud's fit in our ear. Really dumb. BUT, that's not the big design flaw. NEVER BEFORE have I owned a pair with this flaw in it. What is it? THE BUDS DON'T GO OFFLINE WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN THE CHARGING CASE. So, you must manually turn off your Bluetooth to keep your phone from answering in Bluetooth mode on buds you're not currently wearing. OR...you must answer the call, and then switch from the buds to the phone or speaker while your caller waits. Really professional, eh? Nah...really stupid. Poorly thought-out design. So, that's a pain. Other than that and the too-sensitive touch control, they are fine. Not worth returning them. But BOTH those problems should be so easily solved. Yes, it's too damn hard for manufacturers to think about giving us options to turn both of those "features" on or OFF.

Great Set, But Sometimes Not So Much

THE GOOD: (1) Very nice, full sound. (2) Fit is perfect--I vigorously shake my head every which way and they stay put (we all have different ear shapes, but for me these work well just with the cups that came attached--you also get a few other sizes to try to get a better fit). (3) Design--Great case and no little white bud sticking below my ear (Apple and Apple-like designs) to interfere with the straps on my bike helmet and the such. (4) Battery life and controls are great (controls a definitely a little sensitive, but once you learn to handle them it's fine). THE BAD: From the reviews, it looks like a small % of these have bad chips. This makes them randomly work poorly about 30% of the time (connection cuts in and out intermittently). Mine are such and I will return them. If I were buying them for the first time, I'd take the chance on being lucky and getting one of the good ones, given that it appears the bad batch is a small % and they can be returned. But, alas, I cannot take that risk two times, which is a shame because these are absolutely great for the money.

**Update**- I dont know how these headphones have 4 and a half stars. They are/were terrible. I only bought them a couple of months ago and one doesn't even work anymore. And as the original review states they were a pain in the ass to connect and would pause and play randomly. DONT BUY THESE!

sound is great but half the time I use them it's such a pain in the ass to get them to connect even tho I only use them with one device. Not only that but if I pause what I'm watching they almost always disconnect themselves and then a minute later reconnect and play without me hitting any buttons. battery life is okay. I'll prob end up buying a different pair of earbuds though these are just too irritating getting them to work.

Every so often, when the planets and stars align, quality, price, and value are within reach. That was my original review. That was it. Seemed good enough.

Update: A few weeks in, I may have been too gracious with the initial review. The first pair received started cutting in and out during a 4-5 hr listening session so often that it became more or less useless to use. So I ordered a second pair and the first pair I would rate at 2 stars. The second pair worked fine for a while, but now is also starting to cut in and out, and the carrying case does not appear to hold a charge as described, so 3 stars at best. The stars are mostly for sound quality - on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being best I'd put it somewhere around 6-7. That's not bad for $29.99 buds, but there are better options. In this very crowded market full of strange, weird, and wonderful brand names and their corresponding earbuds and designs, you gotta stand out from the crowd, and can't have these kinds of quality issues.

Nice but fall out to easily

Likes: I like the color and I love how small the charging case is. The color options are nice and overall the sound is good.

Dislikes: The electronic voice in the buds is creepy and very low quality. The buds are not noise canceling, they fit in your ears weirdly and they fall often.

With how small the case was I was excited thinking the buds would be smaller, but instead they are bulky and awkward. I walk dogs and they constantly fall out, they are even worse in the shower. There's no way you can run or workout in these. I would not recommend them. Go for a more expensive brand like Mopow up to like $35, and the quality is so much better as well as the noise cancelation and ear fit.

So. Great noise cancelling. So great that if someone wants to talk to you or you want to talk to them you have to take one out and hold it or put it in your pocket. Which confuses it. They turn off I think. Or the volume reduces. So you tap and nothing happens except later maybe and then your ears get blasted off. It has so many options, you can call some one they can call you etc. etc. So if you want to listen to music you or the ear buds will get confused because they have so many options like calling or talking to you phone through the INCLUDED mic. is is one tap to up the volume?? did I tap and hold long enough?? TO MANY TOOTS AND WHISTELS!!! I just want to listen to music. I do not want to talk on my phone. I do not want to answer my phone. I just want to listen to music. To turn them off I put them in the box so I don't even need to turn them off with a tap. I just want to listen to music. TOO MANY TOOTS AND WHISTELS!!!!

It may seem nitpicking to some of you, but the case is terribly designed. There are no lights on the case to tell you when they're fully charged. More important, you can't get the %&^$@ open. There's no ridge... You have to use a fingernail or a pen knife to open the case! And, now I remember why I wanted a larger case for my previous (now lost somewhere on my mountain trail). The instructions, other than being in 1/16 font, are poorly written. I know, they're earbuds! What do I want to know? How about answering a call, lowring the sound, stuff like that. I finally found them, and that will also be a problem. "Long" tap to increase volume. But if the long tap is a second, it turns them off. And, you have to set volume individually for each bud. Then, how do you answer a call? (I had to stop typing to get out the instructions: good thing I'm not riding my bike.) By the way, Play and Pause are relegated to the left earbud while Next and Play Assistant (whatever that is) is the right bud. And I'll have to review how many taps to accept and reject. There are approximately 18 different functions for the pair. I'm still learning a new phone. I was sooo happy when I heard music, I accidently turned them off. On the positive side, very easy to pair, and more comfortable that some with the thing hanging down. And this is only day 2!
